Daily Planet getting a new writing staff!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Looks like Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, who penned SUPERMAN RETURNS, aren't returning for the sequel. Instead the pair are pursuing their directorial careers, with Dougherty having already completed TRICK R' TREAT (loved the trailer, but damn them for pushing it out of October) and Harris helming I, LUCIFER with Daniel Craig. It'll be weird if MAN OF STEEL ends up going into production soon (reportedly straight after VALKYRIE) and then comes out in the same time frame as George Miller's JUSTICE LEAGUE flick. I think it'll be a good opportunity to get a different take on SUPERMAN. Right now Singer is still returning and WB is saying Routh is as well. Now the hunt is on to hire a new screenwriter. How about Chris McQuarrie? When he works with Singer good things happen and love to see a harder take on Supes. Thoughts?
