Early last month, Brett Ratner did an interview with MTV regarding BEVERLY HILLS COP 4.
A particular quote in the interview lead many to the logical conclusion that the new BHC project would have a considerably softer tone/rating than its predecessors.
When asked what is biggest challenge would be, Ratner seemed to indicate that his new film would be geared towards a very PG audience.

Hey folks, Harry here... our friends at Cinetic Media are doing a great service which allows folks like me and you to embed some really high quality Documentaries on a site - your site - or even this site! And right now there's just 6 fantastic Docs, but if you embed it on your Myspace, Facebook, personal website, from time to time they may change, add and flush the content out. Hey folks, Harry here... Seems the year is getting kicked off with quite a bit of horror and horror remakes - for some reason, the powers at be have decided that this is the time of the year to release horror films - not late September/ October - where I personally would love to see at least a good selection of horror. Is that really too much to ask, and is there some definable reason that keeps studios from releasing a movie like TRICK OR TREAT around that time?

Hey folks, Harry here... Just got sent this blurry, not quite sharp image of the A CHRISTMAS CAROL poster, which is the next big Motion Capture project from the world of Robert Zemeckis. And the poster gives me the distinct good vibe that Zemeckis has decided to do away with the Photo Real look, and to instead go for beautifully designed characters - which is what he should be doing. I love the look of Scrooge there, don't you? Well... best as you can tell?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Now, the below review isn't a positive one, which doesn't make me happy because I think David Goyer's horror film looks fantastic. It's the only trailer that I've ever seen that has made not just one, but two different audiences scream when it played in a dark theater. I've never seen that in all my years of movie watching... it's that creepy old dude who turns his head upsidedown.
