Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The word on Zombie's HALLOWEEN (from screenings and bootlegs) has been almost split down the middle. Half have hated it with a passion, half seem to at least like it, if not love it. We know the Weinsteins love it and to prove it Dimension has signed a two picture deal with Zombie. He is contracted to write and direct both films.
I'm wary of HALLOWEEN, but I enjoyed THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, so if this is an excuse for Zombie to make some more original horror films then I'm all for it. Just stop doing remakes, that's all one little nobody in Austin asks.
