“Veronica Mars” alumna Kristen Bell will appear in several episodes of “Heroes” playing Elle, a woman will ties to Noah Bennet who somehow had something to do with Peter Petrelli’s explosion and will become involved in Claire’s storyline. Elle is introduced committing a crime, but she may not necessarily be evil. Bell was also reportedly offered the role of a scientist named Charlotte on “Lost,” but apparently turned that one down. In other casting news, TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello has learned that Ken Leung, who played Uncle Junior’s fellow psych-ward inmate near the end of “The Sopranos,” has been cast as a brainiac mathematician named Russell on “Lost.” He will be introduced in the fourth season premiere, which ABC airs in February.
