Shia LaBeouf gets a MILF for his next flick with DJ Caruso: EAGLE EYE!!!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. We've talked about this flick before on AICN. I can't speak for the rest of the contributors to this site, but I really dug DISTURBIA and I'm glad DJ Caruso finally made a worthy follow-up to his great first two films: BLACK CAT RUN and THE SALTON SEA.
Shia LaBeouf is starring in this flick as a young man who is framed, along with his mother (Correction: not HIS mother, but A single mother... okay, that makes a little more sense), as a terrorist. They are both forced to join an active cell that is planning a political assassination.
His mother is noneother than the hottie-bo-bottie Michelle Monaghan. Yeah, that amazingly gorgeous woman from KISS KISS BANG BANG... and also MI3. Man, I'm going to have to crash this set now. Dammit... there goes my fall... wait, when are they shooting this again? Well, whenever it is, there goes my then.

Terrorists come in many forms not just Al Qaeda. Ever hear of ETA or the IRA to give you 2 easy examples of non-islamic terrorist. And just because other groups haven't done it yet doesn't mean they won't. Can you imagine the outcry if a white terrorist/ anarchist group blew up a plane and the security had to explain that they didn't search the hi-jackers because they weren't brown. Personally, I can live with a delay.Obviously profiling should be used to some extent- but you can't exclude any racial group.

The security people should have training to spot potential terrorists and the leeway to search those they think are questionable. Yes, there are Asian Muslim extremists. Yes, there are African Muslim extremists. They aren't the ones making direct threats though.
In a perfect world we'd all get along and we could sit around and sing Kumbaya holding hands and everybody would be friends. That's not reality. I'm assuming you're an American DocPazuzu. My original post in this thread was thrown together without much consideration other to point out the ridiculous plot point of this movie. The only reason I continued on with the topic was because of the backlash that came up from my comment and people just coming unglued. I do stand by my original statement of profiling but, only to a degree. Islamic fundamentalist terrorists generally fit a profile and this is what needs to be concentrated on. I also still think people should lighten up a bit and not be so damned sensitive. Everybody is so damned concerned that they are going to offend somebody they end up just talking out of their ass and not saying anything of meaning at all. in a fight to the death there are no rules. People need to realize that. Profiling at airports should be done intelligently. To search an old white lady in lieu of an Arab is plain stupid. I can live with delays too, but let's face reality - potential terrorists and hijackers are LIKELY going to be Arab. That's not to say you ignore SUSPICIOUS-looking or -acting white guys. Search the hell out of them too. Or black or Asian people. If they're suspicious, you err on the side of caution. But to search randomly, and include elderly people and such, that's just fucking stupid. I know we have a stupid President, but that doesn't mean we have to all be stupid until Hillary gets elected. I don't support calling Arabs "towel-heads" or "rag-heads" or "camel-jockeys" though. But we have to face reality - many of these mosques are breeding hatred and contempt and developing potential terrorists. We must be vigilant in safeguarding our society from terrorists both foreign and homegrown.

Granted, she looked a little old for 19, but she looks closer to that than Shia LeBeouf's mom. There's no WAY she can pass as his mom, even if she was a pregnant teenager (maybe if she had him at like 14 at 13, which would be a whole movie on its own). It's ridiculous that Hollywood's been casting the older roles with young people these days, e.g. Rachel Weisz and Ryan Gosling as the parents in Lovely Bones. Once you hit 30-35 I guess it's already tough for established actors to get work, especially if you're a woman.

If you are reading this, I just wanted to say that Sassy's got your back. I know that you come on here to read people's comments about you all the time and they are giving you a hard time. You deserve some respect on here, and I'm giving it to you. You are an amazing actor and I love all your movies, you are definitely the next Tom Hanks. You bring all your characters to life and they could be people we all could relate to. I love reading and watching your interviews because you show signs of a great actor. You are intelligent, funny, and a cool dude.You had a rough life growing up and that is understandable, everyone goes through a bad time in their lives, but we always overcome it in the end. You are brave and you always say what's on your mind, I like a guy that is opinionated and keeps it real. I think you're a great guy and you are super sweet and hot. Who knows what he's doing right now, if he's reading another script or online, it shouldn't even matter what any of us think. It's not like we know him or anything. It wouldn't even matter to me if he read my comment or not, if he's like another Hollywood ass, it wouldn't even faze me. It's not like I had a chance with him anyway. lol

I might count my money and then go on a vacay or have a celebration for all my hard work.;) They said that he made like a cool mill from the movie, that's like the most he's gotten so far in his career. He deserves all of it, he's the hardest working person I've ever seen before. Go Shia, make that money boy!!!!:)
