Jack Black finds THE LOST ADVENTURES OF STONE PERLMUTTER JR.!!!

Published at:  Aug 02, 2007 3:35:32 AM CDT

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Jack Black will star and produce this flick for Universal. It's a faux documentary in the FORGOTTEN SILVER vain, with Black playing an incompetent adventurer named Stone Perlmutter who traveled the world in search of Yeti, El Dorado and the Tomb of Jesus. This film will be the recently discovered footage from his 1979 misadventures.

I'm in the "love him" camp when it comes to Jack Black, so I'm on board. Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory scripted and Universal will foot the bill!

I believe you mean "vein" as in "of the same type" rather than "vain" as in "I'm getting a pimple! The world is going to end!"

You gotta have Sasquatch, right? I mean, the D have done numerous songs about him so you gotta have Sasquatch.

Sounds comparable to Heat Vision and Jack, in terms of having a crazy framework through which JB can unleash his comic fury.
