Everyone's seen the first four Weeds, right?

    by gregoryharbin

The new season kicks so much ass it isn't even funny. Weeds is by far the best show on premium TV, and it's not just because MLP is the best looking mom on the planet.

Seen 5 Episodes of BBC's Jekyll

    by jochapma

It's compelling. Some really good shit concocted here. Wonder if more BBC shows contain this kind of quality. Nesbitt plays the two characters extremely well, and Moffat's story moves along with great twists. Overarching mysteries unfold, but there's an episodic structure, with themes playing to each episode, as well as good jumps in chronology for the storytelling. Finishing the 6th and last episode now.

How did the first four get out so quick....

    by tristeele

I mean I love it...This show is excellent. I just wonder how they got leaked. Anyway - The brick dance was way funny. Also the drill sergeant telling Andy about his 'deskjob' was fucking awesome. And Jochapma- You ain't lying Jekyll is required viewing to see one actor TRULY seem like 2 people. Nesbitt is one of the greatest actors Ive ever seen after his portrayal in this show. I'm not loving were the show is going....some of the twists didnt work for me.... but the acting alone will keep me there through this final ep. I hope they leave it open ended enough for another season.

    Jochapma...

    by calico pete

Yes, lots of BBC shows are frickin awesome. Check out Spooks (MI-5 in the US) for a great spy drama. Robin Hood is pretty fun too. The character development in BBC shows is miles beyond US shows on average.

    by boomers_lips

MTV decided to move the show from Laguna Beach to Newport Beach. There's a new cast, whom are all ugly compared to the Laguna Beach people. it's all on mtv's website.

Primeval is very cool. Thge women are hot and the cgi isn't bad.
Nice little cliffhanger season ending. And the show seems to suggest more than just Sliders type stories.

    tristeele, Forgot Gina

    by evilwizardglick

While Nesbitt really cuts loose the REAL talent of the show is Gina Bellman. She was tit for tat with Nesbitt throughout their very many confrontations.
She even shines in that Lundgren film.
Nesbitt ,sadly, can far out act most of his American counterparts and will never get the recognition he deserves.

    by zer0cool2k2

I thought surely there'd be a "Saving Grace" talkback today, what with James "Spike" Marsters on last night's ep, sporting an Oklahoma accent that made him sound like he really was British. At least they keep finding ways to get holly Hunter naked.

of which you speak? And Knights was one of the few (warning cliche alert) laugh-out-loud comedies of last year. Too bad it was clobbered by American I-dull.

Far too long between seasons for Weeds

    by ian216a

Loved the first 4 episodes "released" already, it's becoming one of my favourite shows ever. Makes me laugh in the way Seinfeld used to, and South Park sometimes still does. Jekyll surprised me with how much I enjoyed that too, really good, entertaining, writing only flawed slightly by Some of James Nesbitt's wacky Hyde moments. He did the scary parts well, but was a little shit when he was trying to be "cool". The very last 30 secs is a real "oh fuck" moment too, excellent twist which you think you should has guessed, which is the best type of twist. Anyone else since the Californication pilot yet? It's a goos pairing with Weeds, if you like Weeds then you will probably like Californication. It's very impressive on the breast front too, slip it past your girlfriends by telling them it's like Sex in the City, which it is if Sex in the City was well acted, and funny, and about something.

    Californication/Weeds

    by nemesisdarkside

...was pretty good. Duchovny and the writing were very good. Madeline Zima is frakking delicious. Gorram!!Can't wait for Weeds to return. I LOVE that show. The eps just fly by though, always leaving me wanting more. Sometimes I wish it was abit longer. At least this season is 15 eps long. Haven't watched the new eps yet as I dont wanna have to wait over a month b4 seeing the 5th ep.Showtime is kicking ass right now!!

    Really dug Californication...

    by alonzo mosely

Watched it on Netflix and wasn't expecting much, it seems pretty cliched stuff, funny writer who pulls an endless stream of beautiful young women, struggles with writer's block as he delivers witty barbs to all in sight (amazing how many writers create lead characters that are writers, but a million times cooler than they are). But it had a fantastic beginning and ending, a knock-out performance from Duchovny, and a really nice pace. Only thing I will knock it for is the music choices, do we really need to hear 'Can't always get what you want' by the Stones yet again?

masters of sci-fi is actually getting aired

    by horror freak

sweet, i hope it's good and gets viewers since we really are in need of some good new anthology science fiction show... something that gives us a new view of future. maybe something we haven't seen before... most likely darker, but hopefully a little brighter. i just wish that i could find the pre-airs of that sincei heard that they sent out a dvd of the first (only?) six episodes for critical review but i can't believe that it never leaked. but from what i remember reading most of the episodes were lame but the last one was fucking crazy good... but my memory is slightly flawed... but can't wait

and also concerning the first 4 of weeds

    by horror freak

are amazing... i love this show so much, celia is a cunt, i can't wait to see what happens with andy, i feel kind of bad but kind of good (since he learned a lesson, i hope) for shane, i hate u-turn so much and want to put a bullet in his head, i love doug and isabelle and dean and heylia, and gay sanjay (and also marvin a bit), and i love and sympathize so so much for nancy... i just love that it's a drug comedy where drugs really take the backseat to amazing character interaction...

To actually sell DVDs of their shows for a reasonable price, instead of charging like 5000 bucks for a 10 episode season like HBO likes to do. May have to check
