AICN Games: Monki Has The Army of Two Unlikely Pairing Contest Winners!!
|
Greetings humans, Monki here with the promised results to my Army of Two ultimate pair-up contest I ran a few weeks back.
I apologize for the delay, but if you know anything about AICN contests...they tend to run a bit behind.
As you may recall, the contest was to pair up two people that should never have been paired up to make the ultimate action team! I had three prize packs to give away to people that included the games Battlefield 2, Medal of Honor: Frontline and the movies Tango and Cash and Bad Boys 2. Yeaaahhhh...
We got a few fun entries. There were multiple references to Uwe Boll and a couple about Shia LaBeouf as well, great minds, right guys?
So, in no particular order, my three favorites.
Steven Bley sent in two very very great submissions. Anything with Louie Anderson is a win in my book.

Well done Steven, you have some Michael Bay badass headed your way.
Up next is one of the first ones that I received that actually made me laugh out loud when I opened it. This one goes to show you that it doesn't take insane Photoshop skill to pull a win in an AICN contest.

Congrats to Nathaniel Slater for this one.
Last but certainly not least is another non-super-good Photoshop entry. This one wins for the insanely awesome tag line. Congrats Cyan09.

Catch the Shia reference?
That does it for the winners, but I'd like to highlight a couple others that I found pretty slick.
I appreciate this one by Tompbeast, but the sad thing is, I can imagine something like this actually happening some day, so that sort of negates the "weirdest pairing bit." Still awesome though.

Another one of my favorite entries was a guy who just sent me the movie poster for Wild Hogs with the description reading "four guys who shouldn't be paired." Clever.
This last one...well...I wasn't going to post it, but Quint made me. Harry, if you are reading this, Quint was the one who made me do it! I give you...an unlikely pairing from Filth Parade.

On that note, I'm going to start packing my things, congrats goes out to the winners, you'll be receiving an email from me shortly. Thanks again for everyone who participated! Until next time, back up the tree I go!
