    Scott Baio

    by jccalhoun

From the commercial I saw they are trying to do a Breaking Bonaduchi (sp?) with it. It sounded a lot more like Baio in therapy and such than a dating show.Either way I'll watch an episode or two to try it out. Why? Because it is Scott Baio! He's been with just about every blond actress in their mid 30s to 40s. There's got to be some good stories there.

Just give me one new episode of Venture Brothers and I'll be happy all summer. What the hell is "Mind Control" on Sci-Fi? There's no mention of it anywhere on their site.

Better name for Scott Baio's Show "Nobody Loves Chachi"

    by jinxo

Not even meaning that as a shot. Well, okay it is. But seriously, given the concept it fits and would get tons more attention for the show. Would actually show he had some balls if he named it that.

Sunny is coming back in September. They delayed it b/c they are making more episodes for than the last two seasons.
Also the first two season are coming out on DVD late in August.
It really is the funniest show on TV right now.

    Mildly interested in Monk

    by volstaff

Not a bad "character" show, plus from the promos Sarah Silverman will be guesting some.
Unfortunately a lot of the USA shows I've seen seem to have interesting characters, but they don't seem to have much else..

TV has really turned to shit, and it gets worse and worse.Nothing "good" till Real Time comes back in August.

Here's the 411 on "Scott Baio is 45...and single"

    by pennsy

VH-1 press release: "Staring down the barrel of middle age, Scott has come to the end of his philandering rope. At 45, he finds himself at a mid-life crisis of mythic proportions, wondering why he’s still single, alone and still unable to settle down and commit to a substantial, meaningful relationship.

"With nowhere else to turn, Scott has decided to fully surrender the next eight weeks of his life to a highly-regarded life-coach. This person will guide him on a grueling, soul-searching mission; forcing him to confront a laundry list of old flames in order to hopefully get to the heart of his lonely heart condition.
Each episode, he will have to confront another chapter from his semi-sordid past, by actually reconnecting with some of his most substantial and combustible flames in order to get the bottom of his bad-boy behavior.

With the help of his long-time pals, Scott will be able to successfully sift through the wreckage of his past, and endure an assortment of life-altering activities, (including abstinence), in order to finally earn the chance at actually maintaining a meaningful, stable, healthy relationship.”

Who the eff is with me to watch this train wreck of a show? This could make Hey Paula look like BSG, quality-wise.

What is Killpoint? Here's the scoop...

    by grendel745

Its a series about a bank robbery/hostage taking by a group of returned veterans. The episodes will (apparently) focus on the ongoing situation as well as flashbacks to things leading up to the situation. Its got John Leguizamo and a bunch of people I've never heard of.

Putting in a good word for EUREKA...

    by roguewriter

It's no HEROES, but it certainly was a delightful bit of escapist fun last season. Sci-Fi's quirkiest human drama is a cut above -- funny, occasionally suspenseful, always entertaining as hell. Heartily recommended, especially as an antidote to the heavier fare of recent years (LOST, BSG, etc.)

...it's much, much better! It's much more imaginative and has better realized characters. It's not as ambitious, but it's pointedly more clever and creative.
