I liked it... oh well. Prison Break had a nutty finale

    by modlight

Right when I was about to give up on it they took it and threw it against the crazy wall with the wild Thunderdome style prison in South America. I'll at least watch a little next year to see what happens.

Airing the episodes this late, when we know there is no conclusion is even slightly deterring me from tuning in. They should have just aired them on a Saturday or something shortly after, rather than hanging onto them.

    by david lazarus long

I don't even care anymore. Just don't air them. Why bother? What's the fucking point? Actually I'll be surprised if they do air them. They'll make more money if they save them for a DVD release, and I mean... that's what it's all about, right? Artistic integrity be damned, it didn't make enough money INSTANTLY so they canned it. Why shell out the meek, limping conclusion for free when you can make a couple quick bucks, huh FOX? YOU FUCKERS.

    Finale?

    by photoboy

Should we call whatever episode they were filming before they were cancelled a "finale"? It's not like the makers of the show intended it to be their big final episode where all is revealed or anything.

death rattle. Heh. "Tune in this Friday for the DEATH RATTLE of Drive! You might remember watching this show- oh, you don't? Is that because it was only on for a day and a half? And we never even gave you a CHANCE to watch it? Well, it's ok- we did spend a HUGE amount of money to make it, so it's good that all that money was a complete and utter waste. Tune in next week, the DEATH RATTLE of Drive!"

I remember liking it quite a bit.

    by catvutt

But to be completely honest, most of it has faded from memory...with the exception of that annoying guy who said 'Homes' every other line, so I guess I'm really not going to miss it that much. But it certainly had potential to grow into something I could've loved, so the fact that it didn't get more of a chance kinda sucks. But hey...it's Fox. I really don't expect any less at this point.

I heartily endorse a Prison Break talkback. Next season looks cool... THAT's a prison you want to break out of, and fast.

    by coolfrood

When the dude pulled out Fillion's file and said "This is the guy we want", I was Hooked! Only to have already learned the series was killed by Fox. Fox Frakers! (I wanted to see Tim Minear's vision for this show... Damn!)

    but.. I CAN'T DRIVE!!!

    by stargirl

That's when I knew this show was shit. But it was sexy shit. I'm a good, muscle car lovin' girl who knows how to drive herself. And when a show about being outside the law and driving like a "bat outta hell" (thanks meat loaf) gives me a girly hard on, I know I'm in for the long haul. Too bad Fox wasn't. Just like anyone else you pick up randomly, cuts out too soon and your left making your own "destiny".

    what is the bloody point...

    by obscura

they've already ruined it by cancelling it. a show that had lots of promise... the first 4 episodes were easily more exciting and interesting than the first 4 episodes of Heroes. Drive could have ended in such an amazing way, it just needed to be given a chance, and it wasnt. bastards.

Fox doesn't want anyone to see it ...

    by howstone

...because then they'd realize that once again, Fox has taken a really cool show that if they gave it a chance, would turn into something great and CANCELLED it after less than half a season. See: Firefly, Wonderfalls, Arrested Development (OK, I know that went 2+ seasons, but it was too good and Fox treated it like crap).
