Hitch A Ride On THE WATER HORSE!

Published at:  Jun 24, 2007 8:38:48 PM CDT

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here.

Holy cow! It’s Elston Gunn!

Elston Gunn here. This was just sent to me:

"yo. the The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep trailer has just hit.

DJ welly reporting."

This is a much different trailer than the one shown at the Rock Ness festival two weekends ago, which Latino Review posted.

Looks like Sony is wanting to sell it more as a family slapstick comedy rather than adventure fantasy. WETA is taking care of the fx. I'm anxious to see it.

    I love Plesiosaurs!

    by capfan

Finally a movie where the loch ness monster looks cool. I like the way the creature looks, I might have to see this one! I'll watch anything with Plesiosaurs in it.

Although the water scene made me think

    by superninja

"Stop messing around and make an Aquaman movie already!" No comic book stuff, Flash Gordon under water.

    Plesiosaurs by way of Disney.

    by superninja

It would've been cooler if it had looked real. Makes me think it's imaginary.

Yeah, I saw this on T.V...

It was called Surface on NBC. I invested alot in that show just to have it cancelled. Sheesh...

    Sorry, but

    by bagheera

it looks less than thrilling and "Kid with fantastic pet" has been tread. If I was a kid I think I might be bored out of my mind by this movie. The announcer doesn't help, either.

    Was Surface any good?

    by spectrebeeyatch

I wanted to watch that show and never got around to it. Is it worth checking out like the ten episodes that came out? Also I'm going to see this movie simply because it's something I dreamed about as a kid.

Love the Loch Ness angle, but...

    by monkey_king

there's no way in Hell that kid would survive swimming in such ice cold water. On top of that, the Plesiosaur theory has been thrown out. Looking forward to THE LOCH based on Steve Alten's book. More realistic creature and more.

Have a cast of non-Scots with dodgy accents? Just cast Scottish actors:o( Looks alright though they always do it period and make it feel old and foostie!

I couldn't have said it better myself. There's nothing wrong with the creature. It looks cool and is animated dynamically. There's a lot of attention to secondary and trimary action, which falls into the crucial category for a creature with an especially long neck. Haters, shut up.
