Adios Amigos!! Sunday Brings The ENTOURAGE Season Finale!!

Published at:  Jun 03, 2007 12:33:24 AM CDT

SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

So get this.

“Entourage” has its third-season finale tonight. Next week we get the “Sopranos” series finale followed by the premiere of “John From Cincinnati.”

The Sunday after that, June 17, “Entourage” begins its fourth season.

Here’s what HBO says about all three June episodes (BEWARE UNINISOTEXTED SPOILERS!):

SUNDAY, JUNE 3 -Episode #42: "Adios Amigos" (season three finale) Vince (Adrian Grenier) and the guys say goodbye to the mansion. Eric (Kevin Connolly) gets flack from the boys for staying with Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui), while Drama (Kevin Dillon) gets fixated on a condo way out of his price range. The guys approach Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro) to direct "Medellin," but will they be able to settle on a budget and agree who gets the final cut? Written by Doug Ellin; directed by Mark Mylod.

SUNDAY, JUNE 17 - Episode #43: "Welcome to the Jungle" (season four debut) The season debut is a behind-the-scenes documentary about the filming of "Medellin" on location in Bogota, Colombia. On the set, Eric and Billy clash over keeping the film on schedule and Billy develops an infatuation with Vince's beautiful Colombian co-star that becomes increasingly disruptive to the production. Meanwhile, Drama tries to angle for a part in the film, and Ari (Jeremy Piven) provides color commentary from his LA office. Written by Doug Ellin; directed by Mark Mylod.

SUNDAY, JUNE 24 - Episode #44: "The First Cut Is the Deepest" Drama plans a welcome-back party for Vince at his new condo, but his obsession with keeping the place pristine puts a damper on the festivities. Ari and Mrs. Ari (Perrey Reeves) learn that their son may not get into their daughter's exclusive private school. Billy's insecurities prevent Eric and Vince from seeing the first cut of "Medellin." Written by Doug Ellin; directed by Mark Mylod.

For those forgetful of who Billy Walsh is, he directed Vince in the indie “Queens Boulevard.”

I *think* it's because the season 3 eps were in the can a while back, but Season 4 only began production a month or so ago.

    Yeah, seems a little moot...

    by danielkurland

With the fourth season immediately starting after. Entourage is maybe the least funny comedy I've seen, but I genuinely enjoy it due to me just naturally finding the stories and situations to be interesting.

Walsh is awesome and how long is "Season 4"?

    by tallboy66

Less than 4 episodes is going to be kind of lame.

    Season 3.5

    by the crucible

The reason why the final episode is only weeks before the fourth season is they split the third season in two - the first half in the summer season, then I believe that one of the guys got sick (I know there was a reason, I think that was it) so the second half was held until after the fall season was basically over, and now they've scheduled them all in before the next season starts again.

Season 3 has been weaker than the other two

    by dandelion

It's still my favourite show, but it's lost some spark. Manic Monday was among the best, though.

    DRAMA

    by imfixingtodie

Johnny Drama is really coming into his own this season. I know Piven is brilliant, but with these past few episodes, I really feel Dillon is Emmy-worthy as well. I hope voters agree. I hope he's not the John Mahoney of Entourage (Piven being the David Hyde Pierce).

    lol WHAT? DanDelion?

    by nalapou

Easily the series two BEST episodes are in season 3. One Day in the Valley and The Resurrection are by far the best stories this show has ever told. It is easily at the top of its game now, in the third season, hence the Emmy win for Mr. Piven. Also season 1 was TERRIBLE. Season 2 was when it actually started getting good.

i said the same thing a few days ago. you always expect Ari to be gold (pun intended) but Drama is surprisingly brilliant on an almost consistent basis now. Its beginning to be not a surprise anymore. very good call. VICTORY!

    HBO is doing it again

    by tvguy4566

I don't get why they have these long breaks in between seasons. It started with The Sopranos and now happening to Entorage. I think two weeks is far too long to expect a fan to wait in between season. HBO really needs to get their act together.

    By the way

    by tvguy4566

I thought they split season three was because of the Sopranos splitting their last season. HBO wanted to help to continue to build Entorage's ratings by piggybacking it with the Sopranos.

HBO trying to keep my subscription going...

    by eppdude

But sorry, dudes. I'm out. Can't get into Big Love (I've tried), Bill is on break, and I'm boycotting John because Milch ditched DEADWOOD for it.
FLIGHT could be interesting, but I can wait for the DVD. Entrourage rules, but it's not enough to keep me paying.
Peace, fuckers. See you in the fall/winter for WIRE and CURB.

    Medellin

    by mechakong!

Can they please just shoot the fucker so they can stop talking about it?
That has to be the least commercial project ever, yet Vince and E keep creaming thier jeans over it. Just remake scarface already and be done with it. Oh wait I forgot I don't care one tiny little fucking bit about the plot of Entourage. I do like the constant stream of hotness from Busy Phillps to Carla Gugino. And the Ratner bit was funny despite featuring Brett Ratner.

... that One Day in the Valley and Vegas Baby Vegas are technically in the same season as the drivel that has been season 3.5. I hope that finally getting to Medellin will turn the boat around.

    The boys....

    by rich malone

So now we het to see them on set in Columbia...could be fun to see them get a switch of location for a few eps, cause L.A.'s getting pretty redundant...Also, couldn't help thinking, if only Vince had hit the wife of the rich dude, they would've had their $60 million instead of having to coerce $30 million out of trust fund baby.......

I liked the Eric character the first season...he was the voice of reason and had a working class attitude towards the L.A. experience....but the last two seasons, they've played him pussy by having him agree to all of Vince's decision's, which are usually not the best one's (the whole 'Aquaman' debacle, firing Ari, whom Eric should be LEARNING from since he doesn't exactly have any official experience.....)...and this Sloan broad should've beem gone....Now, Turtle ususally brings the voice of reason to most situations when people do and say the dumbest things (I don't get the Turtle hate.....) He might be a slacker, but he's loyal to his friends....don't we all have a turtle in our crew?...And yeah, Drama's been shining this season....Plus Walsh is always funny....

    lloyd is hilarious

    by blwiseass

and i enjoy the show, but every single episode starts off with the same set up. Vince says something, Drama says it reminds him of when a similar situation happened back in the day, turtle and/or eric make fun of drama and belittle his comment.

    by mc vamp

Drama's Spanish toast. So "Medellin" is going to be "filmed" within the space of a single episode? What's the time period here? Shouldn't they be in 2011 by now the way they crank the fictional projects out?

    Debbie Mazar

    by chimpjnr

What's up with Debbie Mazar being listed in the opening credits every single week? I don't think that her screen-time in the entire show's history combined amounts to more than one episode. Lloyd, Mrs Ari, Sloane...hell, Turtle's rottweiler - they all get more screen time than Mazar. What gives...?

    Entourage sucks now because...

    by bobparr

the characters have changed. Vince is supposed to be some bored, passive, shallow Hollywood star. He isn't supposed to be some arthouse producer/actor. Why wouldn't he fuck that guy's wife for $60 Mil? Drama is supposed to be a failure doing only B-list work. He isn't supposed to be on an NBC series. Turtle has become useless. Where are his scams? And Eric always sucked.....That "Daddy" documentary was a waste of time. His mom is a selfish slut.
