The UNDERDOG Trailer Wags Onto Ginormous QuickTime!!

The UNDERDOG trailer has finally arrived, featuring dubious voice work and some surprisingly kinetic visual effects (that look as good as, if not better than, some of the cartoony stuff in SPIDER-MAN 3. Yeah, that's right...I said it...I said it...)
Still...I'm sensing an unfortunate screenplay at work here - there's some pretty dopey stuff to be found. Although, can anything be considered "dopey" in a movie about a flying dog?
I wonder if they'll show Underdog eating cat poop? My dog gnaws on cat poop like it's a little puppy Snickers bar. That would be some high comedy right there!

well i'll give em credit, the effects are pretty good for what the movie is and all but still, whats this facsination to turn animated shows into live action? despite how shitty i think the original show was, this would have worked much better as an animated feature, whether cel or cgi.

this flick looks fuckin' awesome. I laughed out loud like 6 times.. and (I know I'll get shit for this) I felt a little tug on the heart strings when underdog was stopping that run-away car. Now maybe it's cuz I'm a little sentimental.. maybe it's cuz I have 4 dogs right now and have always relied on "mans best friend" to fulfill the void left by being an only child.. but I WILL BE FIRST IN LINE FOR THIS! To hell with all the haters.. this movie isn't made for cynic's.

Um, I grew up with Underdog and I didn't see him in that trailer! Did the only cartoonist available break his wrist?
I might see this movie if I start doing drugs again (Hey, it made the last Die Hard watchable!)
Somebody worked really hard, and put a lot of money into that for it to look that painful!

That said, HolyCalamity, I'm right there with you on this one. I was predisposed to dislike that trailer and actually finished watching it with a smile on my face and an eagerness to see the movie. -

were filming this movie here in Rhode Island. As soon as he told me they were using a real dog instead of a CGI one I was turned off....He was a nice guy though, too bad he got stuck on this movie.

I honestly think this will be more enjoyable than Spider-man. It just feels more sincere. The teaser from months back was really entertaining as well. Fingers crossed. -
