Nicolas Lopez's superhero comedy, SANTOS, gets a super producer!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. If you missed Harry's story announcing the trailer for SANTOS, the new film from Nicolas Lopez, who wowed all of us here in Austin when he showed his first film PROMEDIO ROJO, a truly hilarious film, then this story is for you.

Elizabeth Avellan has joined SANTOS as producer. PROMEDIO ROJO was never picked up for US distribution and I'm assuming she doesn't want the same fate for SANTOS, which would explain why she's stepping in now when the film is in post-production.

Avellan produced all of Robert Rodriguez's movies and I think she still is working with Troublemaker to put out content. SANTOS is definitely in good hands.

Lopez is the real deal. I can't wait to see this flick. Here's the trailer if you haven't seen it yet:

    get the money, sit and say how everything must be done, then sell the movie and sell the dvd, so it's basically they do the movie -_-
