CITY OF GOD and CONSTANT GARDENER director switching gears to Shakespearean romantic comedy?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I've loved Fernando Meirelles' work so far, with CITY OF GOD and THE CONSTANT GARDENER being standouts. He's now in the process of pulling together a flick called LOVE'S LABORS LOST, a loose adaptation of the Shakespeare comedy which will follow the lives of a group of international students. Jorge Furtado (who scripted episodes of the CITY OF GOD TV spin-off, CITY OF MEN) is writing. If THE CONSTANT GARDENER showed love at its most gut-wrenching and painful, hopefully we'll get to see the other side of it with this project. Thoughts?
