If you're a fan of animation, one of the most exciting works on the horizon is Satoshi Kon's Paprika. Kon is one of the auteurs in the field, and working with Yasutaka Tsutsui's dream driven story, he's found the perfect source material for one of his imaginative examinations of the boundaries of perception and identity. Our preview can be read here.

Given our respect for Kon's work, we're thrilled to have the opportunity to give away Paprika posters signed by the artist.

Ten winners will be randomly selected from e-mails sent to animecontest@gmail.com. For a quick turn around, please include your mailing address with the e-mail.

The deadline for entries is Midnight US Eastern 5/28/07.

Sony Pictures Classics' North American release of the film opens May 25th in New York and June 1st in LA.

Kon's work is stellar in my mind. Haven't seen anything by him yet that has disappointed.

    Can't. Wait.

Just finished going through Paranoia Agent for like the 5th time. Might watch Toyko Godfathers again tonight. Oh... and chicks are way overrated. Anime delivers much, MUCH more consistent results ~_^ (costs less, too!) ...but girls are fun sometimes. =D

    It's fantastic...

    by workshed

...be prepared to be blown away by some of the most incredible anime ever seen. See it on a big screen, obviously. p.s. I can't believe more people haven't shown interest in this contest - having this poster would be a magnificent addition to anyone interested in anime and having it signed by Con is the icing on an extremely trippy cake.
