Glen here...

Judging from the nature of my incoming e-mail, and the HREF="http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=3234">Reader Reactions to the
"preview episode" of Farscape which aired earlier this week on USA, this new Sci Fi
Channel series (from AlienNation and Twilight Zone scribe Rockne S. O'Bannon,
the Jim Henson people, and Hallmark Entertainment) might just be a pretty hot item.

Accordingly, I thought I would post a few links which will offer you more information about the
show, and hopefully encourage you to check it out for yourself when the debut episode (which
introduces the series' scenario and characters) airs this Friday (March 19) on the Sci Fi Channel.

    Farscape pretty cool

    by ma`el

I saw most of the one ep aired on USA last Sun. and haven't read any of the other reviews or commentaries, but for my time, Farscape is pretty cool. It's strongly character driven and all the characters stand up well in their own way; the lead guy is not a cut-out action hero and seems more real to me as just a guy trying to get through the situation he's in than the usual action hero, which is a gutsy and successful move on the producers' part; the scenes run from serious tension to goofy, which is both engaging and humorous without being confusing. Now I'm looking forward to Friday night to see how this story gets started. This could be a lot of fun!
