SWEEPS DAY 11!! Battle of the Blondes!! AMAZING RACE All-Star Finale!!
I am – Hercules!!
Eleven teams started; three remain.
Waiting at the finish line are the teams vanquished: the estranged New Yorkers, the baldies, the hillbillies, Rob & Ambuh, the oldsters, the evil homosexuals, the married Texans and the pleasant homosexuals.
Two of the remaining three teams are all female. All three teams boast at least one hot blonde. The finalists:
* Eric Sanchez & Danielle Turner. The 28-year-old waiter and the 23-year-old bartender competed on opposing teams in season nine, then began boning.
* Dustin-Leigh Konzelman & Kandice Pelletier. Both blonde, both 25, both students, both “Amazing Race” contestants in 2006, both Miss America contestants in 2005.
* Charla Baklayan Faddoul & Mirna Hindoyan. One’s really short, the other’s a dwarf. One’s a lawyer, the other co-owns 10 sportswear stores. Mirna looks great in a bikini and yells “Charla, RUN!!” a lot. Both are 30, both were born in the same Syrian hospital, both went to the same Maryland university.
Whichever team crosses the finish line first splits one million smackers.

I don't know...something about her just does it for me. I'm sure the other blonde hotties have her trumped, but Mirna...yes. ...Oh, well. I just looked it up. She got married since the season on which I first saw her. I haven't watched this show in a long time, but I did love it back in the day. I even applied but didn't make the cut.

If she tried to speak to me in that partronising phony accent or the self-righteous manner she always uses, I'd slap her. Anybody but them. The (not-so) beauty queens or the bickering blonde with the big rack. Anybody but her.

I was really enjoying this season until 3 or so weeks ago, when a poster on a site (not this one), listed who the final 3 and the winners would be. Sure enough, they got the final 3 right. When you know who wins, it takes all the fun out. Still, this is the best reality-contest on TV. Bring on the next season!

Yeah I totally lost interest after Romber left the show, and have only been half-ass watching it. I'm pulling for anyone who's not Charla and Mirna or whatever... They irritate me.

I could be wrong, although I am reminded of the scene from the British Office... Also Mirna is hot? I haven't paid close attention, none of the chicks on this show do anything for me, but I gotta say I was under the impression she was a plainish annoying bitch... I'll have to pay closer attention tonight...

...a definitive declaration of "least cool news at Ain't It Cool News"? Out of the entire "reality program" genre, dating back to "real world" and "Cops", I've only watched three series - all musical, none with the word Idol in the title. I am not a fan of the reality show genre, though I see no reason to vulgarly scorn other peoples tastes in programming, as is so common in this particular venue. I have even heard that this is one of the best examples of the genre. However... ain't it cool news? It ain't. Just my uninformed opinion, though, so feel free to enjoy what you like. Just remember, every hour of 'unscripted' television programming puts three scriptwriters out of work for a week and kills a kitten.
