Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Yeah, I know this has been "sorta" alive for years now and no, I don't know if it'll ever really happen, but the promising thing is that Sam Raimi is still kicking it around.
I was pointed to a link by a spy named Mike the Rocknroll Terrorist over at Bloody-Disgusting where they ran a piece from the Herald Sun, an interview with Sam Raimi to promote Spider-Man 3.
He says he's been talking to his brother, Ivan, about writing the script (he penned ARMY OF DARKNESS) together and there has been lots of talk, but they haven't really done anything yet.
After having seen SPIDER-MAN 3... I think the best thing in the world Sam Raimi could do right now is go make a $10 million silly and gory as fuck EVIL DEAD 4. Have some fun with Bruce Campbell and the deadites. Let the Spidey series rest a little or have some new blood come in. Those are my thoughts. What're yours?
