BALLS OF FURY poster slaps across the Internet...
Hey folks, Harry here... want to see a filthy PG poster for a movie called BALLS OF FURY? Here's their wildly phallic poster - yet palpable for children of all ages. Don't you think? Meanwhile there's a hilarious cast - including Christopher Walken, Maggie Q, MASI OKA, Patton Oswalt, George Lopez, Dan Fogler, Jason Scott Lee, David Koechner, Brian Posehn, Jim Lampley and many more. But none of that is really on display here... here, you get the visual Pun of it all...

They'll never let that stay up in theaters.
-
And This Year's Little Miss Sunshine!
-
OH! I get it now. It looks like a penis and testicles. How trite. That said, I think this will make me laugh.
-
Big Red Font! Oh, wait...
-
Caddyshack did the same thing 25 years ago with a golf club and balls.
-
dodgeball failed by not constructing an alternate reality setting in which dodgeball was the most popular sport in the world. ZOOLANDER was so great because of how important they made male modeling appear in that particular society. it wasn't hidden away on THE OCHO. Making Dodgeball an obscure sport is where they messed up i feel. If BALLS OF FURY wants to succeed, then there had better be a setting in which Table Tennis is the most spectacular event in the universe. (Some of the IMDB picks of the ridiculous costuming give me hope)
-
...this all direct from Dodgeball, puns and all. Still might be a funny movie.
-
the trailer looks great, christopher walken is just too good

Actually, the two balls in the flame above the title...
by iamjack'suserid
is more "disturbing" than the paddle with the two balls.
-
...someone please, please PLEASE upload Heroes ASAP.
I really need my fix, it's been far too long... x_X -
Mr. Roper indeed.
-
I absolutely love them, but wasn't this supposed to come out a year ago? The trailer looks like crap, I don't think I'll be catching this one in theaters at least.
-
Sums it up nicely.
-
I love to use one of those when I get a date.
-
I photoshopped this last week! You can tell because the shadows on the balls don't exactly line up with the shadow detail on the paddle.
-
It's true.

C'mon, Hollywood...Show some frickin balls!! They are singlehandedly slitting their own desperate throats releasing this type of movies to the PG-13 crowd. The thinking is...release it theatrically to the widest possible audience...then have the "unrated" DVD release with all the shit they SHOULD have put in the theatrical version. Unfortunately....I'll skip this movie's release, as I did with Dodgeball, and rent this sucker later..."unrated"...but only if it gets good reviews theatrically. My point? I won't be spending my hard earned cashh on the lame PG-13 version...and I won't rent/buy the unrated version it's the crapfest I'm expecting. So...it's a LOSE/LOSE for Hollywood. These "unrated" DVD releases are going to hurt box office opens eventually....and this flick looks like a perfect example of that.
-
Whatever that means.
-
also wrote Night at the Museum and said they write every script with Ben Stiller in mind. It'll take a lot more to convince.. ah, let's face it, I'll never be convinced.
-
.....for a dodge ball rip off.
-
and TOO PADDLE-Y!
-
awful
-
a dick and balls. I saw the trailer in front of "Hot Fuzz" and while there might have been a couple of little chuckles, this movie looks like what I like to call crap.
-
Done in Photoshop...obviously
XoanonTORN -
Or even better, the one about pre-pubescent gambling addiction WHO LET THE POGS OUT?!
Seriously though, there are enough slapstick sports comedies like there are enough George Romero zombie trilogies. Keep 'em coming! -
Where has that charismatic fucker been since DRAGON: THE BRUCE LEE STORY??? (and yes, I know about the DRACULA DTV movies and that one where he played Mowgli and of course, SOLDIER... but still...)
-
He's gonna be all like "KA-NOCK" and "KER-SLAM!"
-
See.. I saw the trailer yesterday before the hilarious and brilliant "Hot Fuzz" and I caught myself laughing hard during this "Balls of Fury" trailer... then they said "From the people who brought you Reno911..." and i thought, ahh fuck this will be a stinker. I am a big not-fan of Reno911 and an even bigger hater of the even less funny "Halfway Home".

It was so unnecessary for Harry to point out the "joke" of the poster that I felt it worth making a stupid little joke highlighting how stupid you'd have to be not to understand that this movie might employ a double entendre here and there.
What I found very disturbing was why Harold would dare to use the word "palpable" with regard to children. Does Harry know that the word refers to touching or handling? Is he slyly suggesting that he would like children to palpate his "balls of fury?"
Oh, jfp2006, that's a joke, too. So is this: A horse walks into a bar. The bartender looks over at him and says, "Hey, why the long face?"
Oh, and jfp2006, when I wrote the headline and included "I prefer 'choad'" that could be taken to mean that I prefer the spelling "choad" over "chode" or that I like the big hangy-down thing. It was sort of a joke as well. -
True artists are never understood in their own lifetime.
-
I really like the realistic direction they're heading with this.
-
that no one has any balls when it comes to movies anymore.
-
i'm very happy that even with all this "dodgeball" talk, no one has claimed that was a good movie. because it wasn't. it was total pile of shit. i didn't genuinely laugh once throughout that whole movie. NOT ONCE. godammit...
-
The trailer in front of Hot Fuzz made people laugh like it was the funniest thing they'd ever seen. In "reality," it sucked ass. Fuck this movie.
-
But spoil the child.
-
It was in front of let's Go To Prison or Tenacious D i believe. So if it comes out in the fall, i wonder why the long wait, to me, that means crap.
-
and I'm one of those annoying fucking elitists who voluntarily re-watch foreign, indie, and classic films. If you don't think "Dodgeball" was a supremely funny example of farce storytelling, I feel nothing but pity for you. Joes vs. Cobras--thank you, Rawson Thurber.
-
Does anyone know how much Cho WEIGHED? I have been looking all over the internet but I can't find this information anywhere.
Thanks in advance. -
Dodgeball was funny - it just was, and those that think otherwise are well...poo lickers...Talladega Nights was pretty bad and Blades of Glory did the job - just about...upcoming Semi-Pro will be another hit and miss type comedy...and I would imagine that Balls of Fury will be completely out there - a "WTF" type film which may surprise us all with its lunacy!! Or, it may just be ballsacks! I hope for the former! In my opinion, if we can have countless chick flicks, porn-horror flicks, bad teen movies, Lindsay no talent lohan flicks, we can certainly have sport comedies...Can't wait for one on cricket - Dead Men Playing, Dead Men Watching.
-
No really, I saw this trailer last spring. Forgot all about it. Walken looks funny, and Thomas Lennon is ace.
-
Dodgeball was funny but had an annoying capitalistic morality. Amusing poster anyway :)
-
old saying? Oh yeah. You can't polish a turd.
-
I thought Will(soon to meet Jim Carey's fate) Farrell was in this cowpie.
-
Everybody's entitled to their opinions, of course. But I was in the theater the other weekend and some guy a few rows behind me says something about Walken. The guy he's with says, "Oh, I hate that guy. He can't act." Well, I nearly bitchslapped the young punk. Say what you want about some of his "paycheck" roles (coughWaynesWorld2cough), but the guy's proven talent (Dead Zone, Deerhunter, Suicide Kings, Pulp Fiction. Hell, I'll even give him Bioloxi BluesHe WAS that drill insructor when I was a kid and hadn't seen Full Metal Jacket yet!) I was just stunned to hear it. Almost as much as when I saw a trailer for "Stomp the Yard" and some Dad behind me said to his kid "Oh snap!" right after the trailer ended.
-
appears in this movie as a voice only--the voice of a cloud, which can form tiny nipplets
-
It's not just a spelling debate. Choad is the fleshy fun bridge, the "taint" as it twere. Chode is a penis that is wider than it is long. As in, "I've heard that guy's got a chode...he's hung like a can of tuna."
-
I thought it said Tounges of Fury. I want my Kung Pow sequel!
-
By way of clarification...and this is just one man's opinion..."choad" is specifically a penis that's wider than it is long, which is terribly sad...the character in Vonnegut's "Breakfast of Champions" had a choad--his penis was shaped like a can of tuna. "Chode" can be both the tuna-can penis, or the perineum, also known as the taint, twernt, gooch, and other swell names.
Thus endeth the lesson. -
Balls of Fury is gonna be awesome. What's with everyone being so trite about it being a rip off? Isn't every movie a rip off of something or another?
In any case, movie looks hilarious - let's take this for what it is people, just a funny movie about balls.
Cant wait! -
This movie looks like its going to be great. I found a fan site if anyone want to check it out http://www.ballsoffury.com
