Dan Conner and Janet Weiss join the cast of SPEED RACER!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some pretty exciting casting news. At least to me. I love both these people. John Goodman and Susan Sarandon have joined Emile Hirsch in the Wachowski Bros' SPEED RACER, playing Hirsch's parents. I don't know if anybody else feels this way, but the idea of a Wachowski Bros' SPEED RACER movie just feels so bizarre to me. Not in a bad way, really, just that it shouldn't even be a possibility. It'll be a weird production. I like how it's shaping up so far. What about you?
