Check out these leaked script pages and temp poster art for PIMPS AT SEA... Too late!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a fellow seaman "Long John Silver Spoon" who got the scoop on a new flick in development called PIMPS AT SEA, a comedy (at least one would hope) that is taking advantage of the huge success of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.
LJSS says this isn't a spoof of PIRATES, but rather a flat-out funny take on the genre. Sounds like an extended Chappelle Show sketch, but if they really put some budget behind this it'll be an extremely bizarre flick, a decent budgeted pimp and pirate movie? Count me in.
LGSS, who works closely with the production, sent in a few script scans and a rough temp of the poster, taken with his cell phone camera within the office. It's obvious it's a temp poster (if you look closely at the names, you can see they're just filler), but it's a fun design. Enjoy!

if you had gotten this up at the same time Bungie posted theirs. Instead they linked to this page before it existed and you lost a lot of traffic from their site. Still, I always enjoy a good Bungie April Fools Pimps at Sea story. If they'd made the credits on the poster a little more realistic they might have even fooled a few more people.

It seems like you've seen the Mind of Mencia version of this but don't want to admit it. I mean, Chappelle never did any skit remotely like this where Mencia did THIS EXACT THING. I realize people laugh off Mencia as a poor man's Chappelle but either you should give Mencia a mention, or not pretend to confuse it with The Chappelle Show.

...I hadn't heard of this ongoing gag by Bungie before, but I figured it out just be seeing the coffee stains on the script, even before reading the notes in the margin. It's a groaner, to be sure, but nowhere near as cringeworthy or flabbergasting as seeing a few choice morons even dumber than the Cumpston indignoids posting in this talkback.
