No, I’m not going to point out the Surfer’s nards in this article…’cause they ain't evident in these shots (not that I looked).
The ever-humbling Father Time sent this in, and tells me that we should start seeing this material in various locales rather soon. These seem to be variants of shots/angles we've seen before. I like the minimalist approach to this element of the campaign...hope they stick with it.
I had to shrink these images down; that line of text in the lower corner of the second image is plugging the film's site, which can be accessed HERE.
Folks who don't like the filmmakers' realization of The Silver Surfer in FF2 might prefer this approach:
Looks like a naked and crazed Paul Shaffer with a pricing gun...but I'm not sure...and I dont' know that I want to know.

For all the Manhattan'ites, the studios launch various marketing campaigns for various cities at different times. If it's been in NYC for a week more than we've had it here, awesome, you guys are lucky. And yes, LA just started seeing the ads a couple weeks ago...but up until now has anyone stepped up to the plate and contributed snapshots or made any mention of them? You attack the messengers of being late, yet you dont make an effort to alert or bring attention to these things when it's fresh. So dont blame AICN for maybe being late on the reveal of these, most fans in the midwest I bet havent seen these, and even so, these are nice quality, clean & clear images which should be rightfully appreciated instead of dismissed! Nuff' said! -ED

And when we I say NYC, that's all five boroughs. Manhattan is only one borough. Brooklyn is the most populous, and the best borough in my opinion. Manhattan kicks ass though. And I've written emails to most of the people on this site asking about a NYC bureau, and have received no answers. So they must think that Texas and California are all they really need to cover. Sure, they have Chicago and other nations around the globe, yet NYC and the east coast...nada.

One can only hope that they get this right. So far I've been pleased with what i've seen, save for Alba's terriable wig. Not to keen on Ultimate Galactus if true, but i would happily accept a combo of both, just so long as Kirby's Galactus makes an appearence. he ain't gotta come to the earth, but we need to see him or a shot of him in his World Ship.

Like Bobo said, all these other versions look like the T-1000 terminator. The top poster here is the guy actually being SILVER, with a slight matte look and everything. I'm very glad they're at least considering that. Maybe that's the only finished shot, and every other picture, including the trailers, is just pre-vis? Maybe in the movie he'll actually be silver? One can hope...

It allows you to see what he's looking at, or at least it gives him more personality. The comic version of course didn't have any, which would have been hard to pull off back in the day without CG coloring and stenciling like we have now. But I think it gives him a bit more depth with then without. Funny how to smallest thing can do that.

After telling use about the " black ,jive talking" Alfred and the rapist Joker, he would always conclude a line with " Gordon has a beer and cheats on his wife" Each time he said it he misspelled the word Cheats worse and worse. It is very evident SS will steal the entire movie from F4 easily.
OH HOLY SHIT 300 opened with $27.7 million eventhough it has a very small fanabase. It is doing this well because the trailers were so damn cool and general audiences loved it + spider-man fanbase went into the movie hoping for a trailer.
F4:ROTSS teaser has got amazing reaction from the general audience and with a new trailer that shows much more awesome and kick ass stuff it could well get a 80-90 million opening weekend.
This year every big movie is doing surprisingly well.
GR breaks the president weekend record- $53 million (4-day)
Wild hogs gets $39 million opening weekend.
300 will probably end up doing 65-70 million this weekend.
GR and 300 hardly have a fanbase that big to make them so big but general audience loved the trailers.
300 i think will do 300-350 million worldwide which is amazing.
man this year boxoffice will be out of control.
2008 will be i think another 2006 where some movies will do well but BO won't be a 10-12% drop from this year.

they all seem to be supportin all of WB comic and graphic novel movies and over hyping them and giveing the good reviews which is undeserving especially SR.
also they all are congratualting WB for 300's $27.7 million opening day which shows most of them have been bought by WB.

Now if all these sites fully support F4:ROTSS without aying anything negative, I am 100% sure F4:ROTSS will have a good running time of 120+ minutes.

I actually really think that first picture is how the Surfer should look in terms of his "silverness". Okay, the nose is pretty big all of a sudden (not sure what that's about), but that first picture looks less... I don't know how to say it... shiny and dark? For some reason every image of the Surfer that I've seen so far has been extremely shiny with a large amount of black patches all over the body, which I'm sure is the effect they're going for... but it didn't look right. Now that I've said ALL of that shit, let me be clear that the first FANTASTIC FOUR sucked monkey balls, so I shouldn't expect anything "fantastic" from this sequel.

The top image was one of the first Surfer images released, just sans the logo and text. And the second image is the poster and billboard image that have been seen all around for the last month. The third simply frightens me, but should please all those that complain about CGI...

(I was happier back when I just thought the Surfer looked like the T-1000, only with Patrick Stewart's hairdo instead of Robert Patrick's.) Of course, all of this is beside the fact that the trailer itself was more entertaining than the entire first film, but jeeeezus, guys.

The 1st one sucked. The ONLY portrayal that was dead on was The Thing. The rest of the movie sucked harder than a cheap crack whore looking for a score. I am not even going to waste my time on this sequel. They better not fuck up Ironman although I got HIGH hopes for that based on who is involved now that Downey Jr has been cast.

Yeah, I prefer the first, if only because in the comics I used to read (back in the '70s, when issues were more than six pages long) there was no silver, per se. All you had was ink (or KISS blood) on crappy newsprint. It's cool that you can now ray-trace every reflection, but that'll burn your eyes out quickly. Maybe he should shine only after the ever-lovin' Thing jams his head into a bowling ball polisher.

Well at least FOX got the cool and mysterious element going for them. Posters are cool as hell. Nothing wrong with them one bit. I do see why all the hate. I don't see how to much more could have been done with the SS on live screen. He's pretty much spot on although slightly different from the comics, but it's pretty freaking close and good.

It's common knowledge that Cameron modled the t1000 after the SS. Now you'll never get him to admit to that, but it's pretty obvious. It's easy for powerful film makers to steal, heck theft from very creative people happen all the time in the entertainment industry. Not much these guys can do when you have a multi billion dollar studio and a powerful producer and director steal your idea. You're painted as crazy, and you are crazy if you don't copyrite you shyt. Music industry is also good at this too.
