Two earlier episodes served as a trial run for the series, produced by “24” writer-producers Joel Surnow and Manny Coto. Will Rupert Murdoch allow the show to mock the likes of George Bush, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney and Ann Coulter? If not, can the Fox News show hope to ever garner a “Daily Show”-size following?
