I am – Hercules!!

Wahlberg, of course, is the inspiration for – and executive producer of – HBO’s “Entourage.” He and Scorsese are producing.

The project (Tuesday morning’s Hollywood Reporter does not say if it’s a pilot, a series, a miniseries or what) is based on the book "Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City" by Nelson Johnson.

    Yay, Marty and Dignam!

    by viola123

I love it that Mark gets to work with Marty again, even if they're just producing together. That's awesome! Go, Mark. He must be floating. If it could be, I'd want "The Departed" cast/creators to somehow always be working together. I know, but I do. And I don't want anyone else allowed in their circle.

Wahlberg as Duke? That sounds odd.

    by mcvamp

Wahlberg would be a better Flint, who was a cooler character anyway. You just had the sense that Flint got laid by Lady jaye once in a while. Duke just kind of seemed like he'd flirt with Scarlett in public, then wander off with Shipwreck and Gung-Ho.

Wahlberg is striding right now man.

    by r.c. the "wise"

He could work as Duke. Would prefer Mark Valley. Just make sure Viggo Morteson is the General and all is good!

Well, they blew up the chicken man

    by dannychico

in Philly last night. And they blew up his house, too. Out on the boardwalk they're getting ready for a helluva fight. Gonna see what those racket boys can do. And there's trouble pushing in from out of state, and the D.A. can't get no relief. Gonna be a RUMBLE out on the promenade, and the gambling commission's hanging on by the skin of its teeth.

Everything dies, baby, that's a fact. But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back. Put your makeup on, fix your hair up pretty, and meet me tonight in ATLANTIC CITY.

Herc, you really need to do more advertising

    by crackerfarmboy

You're not getting your full screen's worth. Maybe you should shrink the articles down a little to make room for more DVD advertising? As for this show, sounds cool but we'll see.

    Right on Dannychico

    by pervomatic

Springsteen's song BETTER be the theme to this show...nothing else can even come close to it when it comes to the subject matter. And crackerfarmboy, yeah this "column" is nothing more than recycled news and rampant DVD whoring.
