UPDATED....UK television claims they'll show new SWE1 trailer next week!!!
According to Lincoln at Countingdown Entertainment Tonight will be showing the trailer this Wednesday... which would mean a preview for that story would be running on Tuesday. In addition he says that THE BIG BREAKFAST announcement was premature, and that they do not have permission from FOX to show it.... Hmmmmm.... sheesh....
According to a couple of folks out there in the netherregions of the internet... with ties to FOX... apparently this is untrue... yet according to several viewers of THE BIG BREAKFAST... it was said.... So.... where does this stand? I haven't a clue. More as I find it out...
If true.... we'll all be seeing this trailer soon. Ok you UK-ers.... stand watch and pay attention.... Your time to shine is a coming up it looks like if this is true. Time to pay our San Franciscan friend back eh?

This morning on UK's finest TV show 'The Big Breakfast' host Johnnie
Vaughn announced that they would be screening the new Phantom Menace'
trailer next week on the show, no day was given but I'd advise all Star
wars fans to ready their VCR's in anticipation. There will also be
another update on 'The World Is Not Enough' as well...

I just saw on countingdown.com/starwars that this report is false. It is also reported on that site that Entertainment Tonight will have the NEW and final trailer on Wed. We are going to have to wait and see

Creating a website is alot cheaper than creating a movie, so dont anyone use the arguement "If you bitch about movies so much, make your own!" against me. But to PimpDaddy, if you are so fucking up to date on the "Cool" news, then why dont you make your own website and see who comes? I think Harry kicks ass. Now, STAR WARS stuff... does anyone know if Lucas was lying to VANITY FAIR when he said that he was NOT going to do the third trilogy (aka Episodes 7-9)?

So what is it?...Is the second trailer for SW:TPM going to be shown Wednesday on ET or not? What's this on again, off again reporting? Everytime I read an update about this damn film, there's an instant retraction, correction or modification. Face it, Lucas has won...No one actually KNOWS ( as in is in possession of a fact, not a hunch)

I dunno, why feel tense and bothered about tpm's quality. It looks good doesn't it? And if it sucks, then so what? At least you'll seen it, at least you've had the enjoyment of the last few years looking forward to it. Cause really, if you added up the amount of enjoyment it's given you over the last few years compared to the 2hrs of the film itself, you'll find the former stacked up heavily in favour. ******** P.S. GO SEE Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels AND Analyze This. Both are so good it's incredible.********

Not only that but George Lucas promised the BBC they'd get a world-exclusive behind-the-scenes show... with around 15 mins of footage and interviews... before the US. All in thanks to the UK studio/technicians/actors who have worked on the show since 1977.

I can just see it, the host will say here it is the first look at the phantom menace trailer, shown right here in the uk. The Lucasfilm and Fox logo will come up, and then in will be Rowan Atkinson are the Spice girls swinging lightsabers. P.S. LANE!!!DON'T LEAVE!!!!!!

Saw Lock, Stock... last night. It was VERY FUNNY !! People, go see it. By the time, it ended, I was rolling in the aisles. (not really, but its still pretty good)
I just saw Cruel Intentions, and I liked it. It was entertaining and good. I am going to see Analyze This later on tonight. By the way, Lane if you're still here, could you e-mail me the original ending of Cruel Intentions. In your review you mentioned a bullet at the end, but i saw no bullet. Thanks. -
At this point in time, who cares about any Star Wars rumors. The movie is coming out May 21st, and thats all that matters. I don't give a fuck if they display the movie across the sky at night so everyone in America can see it. Just hold your loads until May and then jit all over yourselves like the rest of us.

One of the presenters on 4T (on Channel 4 - the same channel that shows The Big Breakfast) said that he'd seen the new Star Wars trailer, and taken it home - then realised that he probably shouldn't have said that.

Cruel Intentions is bad, not in the complete suckfest way that 200 Cigarettes blew, but it is not in any way a "good" movie. The acting was poor all around and the script compressed the story in completely unbelievable ways. At least I didn't have to pay to see it.
But that bad taste has all been swept away by getting to see pristine prints of Lawrence of Arabia, Easy Rider, and Dr. Strangelove over the weekend. Plus the fact I'm going to get to see Mr. Smith Goes to Washinton, Bridge on the River Kwai, Close Encounters, On the Waterfront, and Taxi Driver over the next week. If the Columbia Film Fest comes to your city, GO!!! It is an amazing experience. I only hope other studio's follow in their footsteps. Thanks Sony!
