Don Cheadle Talks A Good Game In TALK TO ME!!

This looks like PRIVATE PARTS and GOOD MORNING, VIETNAM, but with a period black spin on the material. I’m not familiar with this true story, but I enjoyed the trailer. I didn’t even realize Kasi Lemmons was working right now, so this one sort of snuck up on me, and I really enjoyed this first glimpse. Sure, it’s a fomula, but it’s a formula I always like when it’s done right.

He is a great actor.

...both in here and the world at large, but I think he's overrated. I found him completely unconvincing as a) a cop in Crash, b) an Englishman in Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12 and c) a porn star in Boogie Nights. Can't remember any performance of his that truly knocked me out. I anticipate the ensuing conflagration.

...I think the back to back performances in OUT OF SIGHT and TRAFFIC show he's got it. Yeah, his accent sucked in OCEAN'Ses; I'm hoping that in 13 they address it in some way as an affectation that he drops or something.
