I hope there's a huge ship-to-ship battle in this final installment. Also, they better know how to end it after an excellent darker second chapter that brought in story and depth. My guess is that Bootstrap Bill will kill Davy Jones and the Flying Dutchman, along with the crew, will be destroyed, except because his heart is still beating and alive, whoever holds it can command the kraken (and a new monster would be good). Lord Beckett uses the Kraken to destroy all remaining pirate ships in the Caribbean, and he seeks out Jack because he's got some kind of personal vendetta against him (this will be explained). Chow Yun Fat aids Barbossa and Jack (who have to team up if they want piracy to remain alive!) in going against Lord Beckett, there's a huge ship battle, Barbossa betrays everyone to take the Pearl as his own but Jack manages to get onboard also and they have a final duel to the death (perhaps Jack is saved by Will and Elizabeth). Whatever.

This is the second unflattering pic I've seen of her from this film. Perhaps she is in character and they are reflecting her melancholy (she blames herself for Jack's situation, after all).

the other day, and I remember not enjoying the second film until the third one came out and tied everything together. Maybe the same will be true of the Pirates movies. As it stands, the second one had lots of filler.

(The story served as the inspiration for Melville's "Moby Dick").So, when I look at these POTC pictures, all I can say is, "What a bunch of poseurs."

Dude, looks like you've found yourself a couple of cool inside contacts at Disney with all the various Underdog and Pirates 3 pics over the past few months. Of course it seems we all have to be quick and check often since they keep pulling everything off so fast, but at least you get it out there which rocks bro!

phoenixmagi, following up on your question, you can be on hand for the red carpet the day of the premiere at Disneyland just by arriving super early the day of and buying a regular admission ticket. The park closes early around like 5-6pm but guests are invited to stay until the last of the red carpet guests go in and they start the screening, which for the past 2 movies has been between 9-10pm. Just call Disneyland about a month before the film comes out and ask them when the world premiere is scheduled...hope this helps!?!?

I think Kiera looks so gruff is because of her character's arc...in 1 she was alike a fiesty princess...2...a pirate in training...3...she's a full on pirate...who...at the (world's) end...will end up getting all cleaned up nice n pretty for her big wedding with the Bloomster....with Capt Jack as the worst man. We will not see Knightley's knockers until the end of the flick...you read it here first. Oh...and the movies that came out when I did are...Dr. Zhivago...For a Few Dollars More...and The Sound of Music. Hence...The Hills Are Alive...at the end of the movie!
