L.A.!! Paley Fest!! HEROES!! OFFICE!! SIMPSONS!! UGLY!! IDOL!! NIP!! DEXTER!! JERICHO!! George Lucas!! More!!
I am – Hercules!!
One of the great things about living in Los Angeles is the Museum of Television & Radio’s William S. Paley Festival. It’s like a living special edition DVD. You get to watch your favorite TV shows with an audience, then hear the creators and cast reveal important secrets about said TV shows. What’s more fun than that??
This year’s Paley schedule:
March 1 “American Idol”
March 2 “The Office”
March 3 An Evening With George Lucas
March 5 “Brothers & Sisters”
March 6 “The Closer”
March 7 “Dexter”
March 8 "Nip/Tuck”
March 9 “Prison Break”
March 10 “Heroes”
March 12 “Ugly Betty”
March 13 “Jericho”
March 15 “The Simpsons”
Tickets go on sale to museum members Thursday, Feb. 1. They go on sale to non-members Sunday, Feb. 4.
Those three days between Thursday and Sunday are KEY because many Paley events sell out an hour or two after tickets go on sale. Don’t be surprised if museum members snap up all the “Heroes,” “Office,” “American Idol,” “Ugly Betty,” “Simpsons” and George Lucas tickets and start selling them on eBay for hundreds of dollars long before non-members get a shot at list price.
The good news is museum membership is only $50. And members automatically get discounts of $5 to $10 per ticket - so if you buy enough tickets, membership pays for itself.
But if you want membership, you should probably buy that membership no later than Tuesday, Jan. 30, because I’m told it can take 24 hours for memberships to be processed for online orders.

I'd be all in for Lucas, Ugly Betty, Dexter, Heroes, and Simpsons.
-
you're telling me i only have to pay around $100 to watch TV?
-
American Idol, a show that pads most of their shows WITH behind the scenes type stuff is getting featured?
-
Just so we can then have a better targeted attack on the next wave of Anthrax... ? I mean c'mon, seriously, and even neverminding all the typical talkback jokes like "Is this show still on?", etc etc... but for the love of god, what self respecting person in the WORLD is actually willingly viewing this show??
-
'Cause I can't think of any better explanation...
-
Will she even KNOW which state she's in? And her pathetic explanations of her televised interview behavior hammer home the fact she in a state, all right - of denial. A&E's Intervention, where are you when we need ya?
-
who attends the Evening with George Lucas and gets video (to be posted to YouTube) of themselves standing up in the crowd and screaming "YOU RAPED MY CHILDHOOD, MR. LUCAS. YOU COVERED ITS FACE WITH A CHOLORAFORM RAG, DRAGGED IT BACK TO JAR JAR BINKS' POND, AND RAPED IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN." Time to put your money where your mouth is freaks.
-
I'd be worth it to see Lucas get his cumuppance.

I like how whenever theres TV stuff going on, people who arent avid tv watchers come into the talkback and say how stupid tv is and how dumb shows are these days. we should have book talk back where i can rant about how every good book becomes a movie, so i'll just wait for the DVD release. :) anyways, Heroes would be pretty cool to see, just to hear what little bits of info they got for us. Jericho would be fun, because im sure SOMEONE will ask "when the fuck are we gonna see something happen on this show?" lol

already sold out - just about everything except dexter and nip/tuck, and all that was left for those was the cheap seats. give it another hour and those will be gone too.
