Lando's Not A Man, He's A System!! A Quick Report From The Set Of LOST 3.14!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
Apparently enterprising tourists can just saunter onto the “Lost” set! This from an untested but convincing enough source:
Herc,
For what it's worth... I'm in Oahu on business and spent the afternoon sightseeing around the island. I knew that "Lost" was filmed along the north shore and decided that'd be a good destination. As I got closer to where the original base camp set was located I began seeing film trucks, and then an actual set. I slow down, look over, and there's Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn, and a few others.
Upon getting out of my car I also notice that Matthew Fox is throwing a football with M.C. Gainey (big "other" guy), then walks in Evangeline Lilly (tiny, but definate hottie), Naveen Andrews, Michael Emerson (head "other" guy), and Elizabeth Mitchell (cute "other" girl). The set was located at the Erdman YMCA Camp, which as you may remember is where "the others" are housed... where they originally were located when, looking up, they saw the Oceanic plane fall from the sky.
Anyway, the episode is #14 and when I saw the call sheet I noticed that Billy Dee Williams had a part. He was scheduled on the set later in the day, although I didn't stick around to see him. In hindsight I regret that decision but I thought it was pretty cool that Lando will have a part in Lost. I also noticed [activate invisotext!]
that apparently there's the presence of a submarine and one scene involved Locke blowing it up .
Not much news, but I thought it was pretty cool to be on the set. I'd do it all again to see our friend Kate standing less than 10 feet away from me, banana in hand (hehe).

Can't live on Colt 45 alone.
PS: I should have been 1st. -
Should be interesting IF true...
-
Thats a pretty big spoiler, you may wanna edit that up a bit before people bitch at ya.
-
...is where you actually ACTIVATE FRAKKIN INVIOTEXT!!!11
-
I jus scrolled down through that and saw the thing about Locke and the sub. If that turns out to be true, you are going to wish you had silver balls.
-
Rest in Peice Bam-Bam Bigelow.
-
outrageous. Must be false. Either way... bad ass. CAn't wait til February.
-
tick, tock, tick, tock

Man that sucks, I was just thinking about the guy the other day and wondering what he's been up to.He was one of he most gifted big men in the industry. His matches with Bret Hart, and especially Tazz were unbelievable. Those moonsaults he used to do? Crazy stuff, for a guy 300+ pounds. Hell, he put some of the "high flyers" back in the day to shame.Bigelow joins a long list of wrestlers from my era (early '90s) that have passed way too early. I hope the younger guys have used those, as well as Eddie Guererro's passing as wakeup calls of the reprocussions of putting your body through as much abuse as they do on a daily basis.R.I.P. Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow. You will be missed.
-
Jimmy Kimmel films scenes with Billy Dee then he inserts them into him into the previous weeks Lost episodes...Its funny and cheesy- Maybe ABC is letting them film direct scenes for his show.
-
..Lando has been known to conspire with the enemy.
-
How about you don't put the spoiler in the goddamned article title? You suck, Herc.
-
So what are you chumps moaning about? Unless there's a reference in there I've missed
-
He's just a...you know...character I know.
-
Yow!
-
Thanks Herc
-
Who knew that the Others grassy knoll was at a YMCA camp? That's not common knowledge, even for the spoiler people.
And how'd he get a look at the call sheet? Did he ask nicely? -
but Ben puts up his hand and deflects it with the force. And Chewy finds Charlie-PO in the garbage.
-
The actual spoiler sounds cool though.
-
Colt 45 FTW

Twice! Once when I was going to go hiking up a mountain trail they were filming in this house/restuarant before the trail. The second time I was walking along the North Shore and saw airplane wreckage and said my god and started to take pictures but this security guy came running out of nowhere and started yelling at me and I ran away.
-
I find this quite dubious to say the least. Herc, how was he convincing? Pics of Billy Dee with his arm around Locke? I'm calling bull on it, sorry man. I think you been foilered. God knows it happens to all of us. SAM
-
He wore a cape for God sakes and had a porn actor mustache!
-
Another catchphrase could brew from that...
-
the sub part is true...back in December Carlton Cuse stated the following: "You heard correctly: The Others do have a submarine."...this interview was part of a LOST article titled "When Stephen King met the 'Lost' boys featured in the December 1 issue
-
you should know better.
Lando is not on lost. Are you guys for real? ABC, who produces Lost...also produces the Jimmy Kimmel Show. EVERY SINGLE WEEK THAT LOST AIRS, Jimmy Kimmel has a paraody of that days lost episode featuring lando. They are actually pretty funny. I HIGHLY reccomend going to youtube and watching the polar bear one from the polar bear episode. It's pretty fucking funny.
Billy dee films scenes on the set to make it look like its actually part of the show. I thought at least someone would know this. They are all over the web. Good one herc. -
show gets on my nerves

Works EVERY time.
-
"Actually, my name is Billy Dee Williams.""Whatever you say, Lando."
-
"They arrived just before you did."
Why the hell isn't SPACED on Region 1 DVD?
-
He was doing some filming at the arboretum over in Arcadia, CA back in the late 80's. Really cool guy, also had a lot of bitches with him too, seriously.
-
His character's name is something like Laverde or Lavarde. I can't remember exactly what it was, but I was pleasantly surprised to see his name on the call sheet.
Oh, and it was very awesome seeing the actors up closely. The crew was very friendly and allowed us to take a few things from craft services. The actors kept to themself although Terry O'Quinn at least gave us a smile as he walked by us. From what the crew says he's by far the classiest of all the actors. -
She was so sweet about it too, gave me a warm towel afterwards to clean up and then I was allowed to fill in on one scene because they needed an extra.
-
I love this show!!!LANDO gonna kick the shit out of Jack!!!
-
I vividly remember eating very well on the Spider-Man set. Mmmm. Sony may be having rocky issues with the PS3, but if its one thing they know, its food. Lando on Lost rocks, almost as much as Chris Eccleston on Heroes.
-
You must've met Evangeline through LiveLinks then...
-
Say its not so someone.
-
Billy Dee wasn't there filming a scene. He was just dropping off a case of ice cold Colt 45 Malt Liquour.
-
eko's jesus stick is really just a tan lightsaber....
-
...I've got some great ocean-front property in Iowa for sale dirt cheap! I'll even throw in a case of Colt 45!! The problems with this story...
1. You might get to "wonder up" on a outdoor set, but Security will make damn sure you don't stay very long. You don't get to just walk up and hang out around the actors either. You don't even get to get within shouting range of the stars. Sorry, it just don't work that way.
2. They don't leave copies of Call Sheets just laying around where anyone can see them. Doubt seriously that the Assistant Director or anyone else would take the time to let some guy who just wondered up on to the set take a peek at a Call Sheet either.
Either this guy is full of it or he is a crew member who feels the need to make up some bullshit story to cover his identity. -
WTF??? Evangeline is the spokesmodel for LiveLinks?? She's fucking her co-star the hobbit and now this? I'm beginning to think she makes alot of stupid decisions..I need to get in there so I can be one of her stupid decisions..
-
involving a submarine being blown up on the CALL SHEET was there? No doubt a plate is found in the wreckage engraved "Mobilis In Mobili N."
