Merry Chrismukkah!! The Last OC Of 2006!!

Published at:  Dec 21, 2006 1:08:27 AM CST

SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

What do you know? “Grey’s Anatomy,” “CSI” and even “The Office” are all repeats this week.

And this week’s “O.C.” is all-new, bitch!!

Here’s what Tim Stack says about “The O.C.” in this week’s Entertainment Weekly:

… the fourth season has triumphantly returned to the snarky, sweet brilliance of the show’s glory days. Putting Ryan and Taylor together might have seemed awkward, but the latter’s energy is just what our sulking bad boy needed. As for Ryan’s former flame Marissa, her death has rewarded Julie Cooper with her juiciest material since bedding Luke back in season 1. …

Here’s what Variety’s Josef Adalian says about this season:

... Josh Schwartz's sudser seems to be in fine shape after a much-criticized third season. The scripts are snappy, the plots make sense, the acting's solid, the music is appropriately indie. … Two recurring characters introduced last season -- Willa Holland as Marissa's bad-seed sister Kaitlin and Autumn Reeser as the talkative Taylor Townsend -- are welcome additions to the regular cast. Chris Pratt is a hoot, as are Corey Price and Wayne Dalglish as Kaitlin's fawning entourage. Bottom line: "The OC" is once again in great creative shape, with believable storylines and plenty of the razor-sharp wit at which the series excels. ...

Fox says of tonight’s intallment:

It's New Year's Eve in The O.C. and Ryan has planned a special surprise road trip for himself and Taylor, but when Summer confronts Seth about not making any plans, Ryan's romantic getaway for two is spoiled. Meanwhile, Summer's future rests in the hands of a raver, the gang meets on the way to Vegas. And the Bullit asks an old friend to take a look at Julie's accounting. Guest Cast: Kevin Sorbo as Frank; Gary Grubbs as Bullit; and Brandon Quinn as Spencer.

TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello has something that begs the text invisible:

Does the thought of Seth and Summer having a baby give you the warm-and-fuzzies? If so, the Dec. 21 episode is not to be missed.

"The OC": 9 p.m. Thursday. Fox.
"The Duel": 10 p.m. Thursday. MTV.

    Herc Theory

    by bloo

ok I've been working on this theory about Herc...he doesn't exisit and they don't wan't to switch co-ax editors for a 3rd time. So all they do is post press releases about TV shows. That's clue one, there is very little evidence of new stuff or coax news, just Herc posting aobut this weeks releases or whatnot...even the whole "ohh a press release" thing. Clue 2, AICN's 10 anniversary top 10 movie thing, "Herc" refused to post anything, why...so as to cover the tracks of various AICN editors who are really "Herc" 3rd clue, Herc's favorite show is Gilmore Girls, according to the contact page Herc's real name is Rory, Alexis Bledal's(sp?) char. on GG clue 5, only herc's page is used as the pimping ground for AMAZON stuff...why not all the pages...This is my theory, Harry and Co are playing us TV fans like a fiddle with "Hercules the Strong" there is no Herculaes it's really Quint or Merrick or someone posting TV press releases

    OC Talkback!

    by thebige

Yeah, they've been doing a OC talkback for awhile now, nam0krut; since the beginning of the show 4 seasons ago, I do believe. Herc, you missed it, but they did the Chrismukkah episode last week. The show's been entertaining this season, and we'll miss it next year. I hope they bring back a short season 5 - maybe 13 episodes this summer?

I've heard the show has improved, but...

    by danielkurland

I'm sorry, I just can't go back. After a weak second season, and an absolutely awful third, I just don't want to see what these characters are up to. I'm glad if things are getting back on track, but come on, devices like marriage and children for these characters? Doesn't it seem kind of forced?

O.C is godawful teen television at it's worst.

    by the wrong guy

Worse than OTH. Can't wait until this show dies already.

    The story
    http://www.tmz.com/2006/12/21/naughty-miss-nevada-stripped-of-her-title/
MZ has learned that Katie Rees, Miss Nevada USA 2007, has been stripped of her title after racy photos emerged of her kissing other women and exposing herself. Miss Nevada is in red. TMZ has exclusively obtained the entire graphic series.
Oh you might also want to check out the thong section of Amazon, damn near sofetcore porn. The gang at FATWALLET were yucking it up over the micormini's, but some very see through sheers there as well.

Since I Missed The Office Last Week, I Watched That

    by tonagan

And boy was it as funny as everyone said. I loved Toby's "Why?" when Dwight took his bathrobe, Oscar's "Too soon." cameo at the end. And, of course, Pam's sweater.

I stopped watching this show and am surprised that its still going. I get the feeling they're inching it back slowly into after school TV like Saved by The Bell.

They're right: the O.C. has vastly improved itself.

    by lenny nero

And dammit, I WOULD like a Grey's talkback. I know not everyone has to like it, but it really works if you give it a chance of more than one or two episodes.
