Might Be A Delay in Round #14 with Stallone

Published at:  Dec 14, 2006 1:48:33 PM CST

Hey folks, Harry here... Stallone wanted me to let you know that there may be a delay today in getting the questions answered and online. You see - he's got a crazy day of travel lined up and didn't want to leave y'all in the lurch. He's definitely going to get it done - just have patience - with his film just 6 days out - we're going to try to get these up every day between now and then, but the final days of publicity before a launch on a film like this... well, it's insane.

If Sly's TB ended today, I would still sing his praises for doing it in the first place, and would still see Rocky at the theatre five times anyway, and in the Spring I'd still buy the DVD to go along with every other Sly DVD in my collection, and then I would commence to fetish over them. Hear me now, AICN fanboys! Buy Fandango tix to Rocky Balboa for all your loved ones this holiday and put them in their stockings! We can thank Sly at the box office, and from what we're hearing, it IS a great flick, worthy of the franchise. Amen!! Rejoice, alleluia! Drago! DragOOO!
Hey Sly, in Rocky III, who was the faster sprinter, you or Carl? I'm referring, of course, to the beach race. Also, did you really have to learn how to use a compound bow for the Rambo movies?

Whether there is a delay or he never gets to answer another question.. I'm just in awe of him and how kind he is to do this. AND how cool he is to read the talk back section and stick it to the talk backers that deserve it!

I sent a question in, but I think I got it in too late. No matter. I love reading the Q&A whether my questions get answered or not.

My wife and I will be at the box office on opening day, Sly!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

    ROCKY BALBOA vs DIE HARD

    by kwisatzhaderach

Absolutely, Rocky Balboa looks like a well written and directed film. Compare this trailer to the original teaser trailer for DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. This just looks so low budget. Shame. They'll just have to spring McTiernan from jail for no. 5

    by datascream

new Die Hard looks fun as hell tho. These movies weren't terribly based in physical reality anyways, so I really have no problem suspending belief for it. Come on this is what made John McClane fun to watch in the first place! Picture the most famous shots of him in the Die Hard series: jumping off the Nokatomi building, the ejector seat in the second, and the truck surfing in the third. And now a flying car looks ridiculous? Come on guys...

I tried to get Vern to help sink Wiseman ala the slaying of the JJ Superman. Does anyone else have a DH4 link because that one isn't working for me. However, I did find the original Die Hard trailer on yahoo which just seems so cute now that everything is processed through the ACME Action Trailer Machine.

    by nomihs

Yeah, so it's late, BIG DEAL. Tardiness has run rampant with this Q and A session with Mr. Stallone, who by the way is nothing but class in my book, so I feel no remorse for it's lateness. I know Harry will be dedicated to getting that ROUND up when he gets it from Sly. Like my college instructor says "I don't care if you turn it late, just turn the damn thing in."

    by alice cooper stalker

Sly has to get his priorities straight. The mainstream media will beat him over the head with repetitious moronic questions. Where else is he going to get the quality questions that he's getting from us? When was the last time anybody asked him what beer Rocky drinks? When was the last time he was asked about shower sequences or the potential for Cobra sequels?

I know, I know. but I'm surprised no one has asked Sly about his opinion on why the top actions starts of my generation (him, bruce willis, arnold) are all die-hard (no pun intended) republicans! or maybe it was deemed unsuitable for AICN. dropped in favor of another "tell me a story about blah blah blah" question? at any rate, republican or not, Sly is really a gent for doing this, and it's a great thing for AICN. just wish we could get some more challenging Q's up there.

stopped watching after iv, for him to actually do this rocky balboa and all that, i got to thinking, sly has never been a bad dude, in the sense, no matter how he was presented in the media, he never seemed like a fucking dick, i don't know people, at this point in our culture i think sly stallone has to make another movie after this, where he's given more to do than what he's done, you know, this guy has seen it fucking all i think, and a wry comedy, how about this for warped, somehow stallone and chris morris from bbc4 brasseye, nathan barley and the day today, collaborate on a series in britain or a movie? THAT's so crazy it might be holy fuck if it happens, good or bad like faith no more, its always interesting.
