Yul!! Ozzy!! Adam!! Sundra!! Becky!! Parvati!! The Almost-Last SURVIVOR Of 2006!!

Published at:  Dec 17, 2006 4:08:52 PM CST

I am – Hercules!!

There were seven left before the diabolical Jonathan got booted off the island last week, and we’re already down to the penultimate episode (the 3-hour finale airs Sunday).

(Either BNAT happened early this year, or “Survivor” is finishing up later. I always remember watching the finale, exhausted and starving, in an Austin hotel room.)

I note that representatives of all four original race-segregated tribes have made it this far: an African-American, a Latino-American, two Asian-Americans, and two whiteys.

Who will triumph? There are two super-players from California whom most of the others are anxious to evict at once:

1) Menschy 31-year-old athlete/lawyer/brainiac Yul Kwon, who holds the Exile Island Immunity Compass, and

2) Insanely adaptive 25-year-old Los Angeles waiter Oscar “Ozzy” Lusth, who can climb, run, swim, fish and capture birds with his bare hands.

This leaves:

4) Adam Gentry, 28, hunky if bumpkinish copier salesman.

5) Rebekah “Becky” Lee, 28, like Yul an Asian-American athlete/attorney.

3) Sundra Oakley, 31, both a working TV actress (“Sex and the City,” “CSI Miami”) and a cocktail waitress in Los Angeles.

6) Parvati Shallow, 23, both a boxer and a cocktail waitress in Los Angeles.

8 p.m. Thursday. CBS.

    by bob toddler

Oh man. You can't write stuff like that. What a perfect last name for this vapid, bubbleheaded, spoiled brat. Ozzy (and Jonathan, for that matter) was absolutely right to want to keep food away from her, Adam and Candace. If they want to spend all day spooning each other in their love nest, why should everyone else be expected to take up the slack?

Someone mentioned something above, and I thought I should point it out. This year they are changing up the ending for the first time. It's not going to be the final 2, it's going to be the final THREE. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I'm just excited we get 3 hours of survivor and an extra hour reunion show all this week!

Why? Because the contestants actually compete to determine clear cut winners and losers. Plus, the contestants decide who wins -- not a team of producers/judges/corporate monkeys trying to determine what will be the most exciting "Television."

I have been waiting to watch all of survivor in one sitting. And you go and put the names of the final contestants in the HEADLINE of your article...plus there's no spoiler tag. That makes me very very upset. I'm not coming back here in case you ruin who wins it.

I wondered why, when Brad became the first member of the jury, there would eventually be 10 jury members. Now we know there will be only 9. And a possible 3 way tie.

    by ecupirate71

Getting rid of the 06 model of Richard Hatch was a mistake. I would have taken him to the finals. Also, I like that cast members are finally threatening to sway their jury votes in an effort to stay longer.

yeah, they should have dumped adam

    by shakes

That's always how the plan goes awry. There's a final four alliance, then when they get down to 6 or 7, they start to diverge from that plan thinking that they'll still have numbers. Diverging from the plan then causes everyone else to get suspicious, and they then start listening to the underdogs. Always.

I'm just saying put the content in the body of the posting, not in the headline...should be your choice if you read the details or not. Obviously it's not a real spoiler since the shows have already aired but still - most other topics on here don't give anything away until you click on the headline. I have a good reason for saving the episodes until they're done, but that isn't at all the point of my complaint.

    by shermdawg

if you didn't want spoilers? Also, CBS will be running ads for the people that are left in the game.Complaining about this is about as ridiculous not wanting the local paper to tell who's playing in the divisional championships.

I don't want spoilers on one specific show...and for the things that i do want spoilers on, most of the time they are invisible or at the very least contained within a link that is marked as a spoiler. i don't watch CBS so i won't be seeing any ads for the show.
like i said, i know this isn't really a spoiler, but i don't think it is necessary to list the contestants in the title to get people to understand it's going to talk about survivor. anyway...

    by karaisacylon

regardless of whether the shows have aired or not, then you should avoid the talkbacks where that show is being discussed. Seriously, have you ever visited any other talkbacks? People spoil things all the time, REAL spoilers, too, not just "You told me what happened this week on the show that already aired during a Talkback that discussed the show that already aired!"

If you think about it... if they're not allowed to discuss the show that's under discussion, what do you propose we talk about, really? Jeff Probst's hair?
