    by rinse

It's next year's "truthiness" -- count on it! :PI suppose it's nice that studios are putting all this TV on DVD, but sometime I wonder who's buying some of this crap. "Joey"? And who's paying $350 for "My So-Called Life"?? Amazing..

I win at life. I will gloat up until the point when The Prisoner goes for less than that. On that day, I will cry. In the meantime, MUAHAHAHA!

Batman Beyond ended way too soon.

    by dogsoup

And sure sure "Epilogue" tryed to fill in holes, there's still WAY more story there. See, the logical direction though is Bruce Wayne dying and no one wants to go there.

    Men Behaving Badly

    by franklin t marmoset

I had no idea they had done an American version of the Men Behaving Badly. It is as though someone saw the English version and, seeing that it was unfunny and annoying but not nearly unfunny and annoying enough, decided to remedy the situation by doing a remake with Rob Schneider. I imagine, obviously.

I wonder, is that The Real Ghostbusters, produced by Dan AYkroyd & Harold Ramis, or the crappy Scooby-Dooish ripoff with the Magilla Gorilla lookin thing.

    It's the 70's Filmation Ghostbusters

    by osmosis jones

That's why the movie spin-off series had to be titled "The *Real* Ghostbusters", because they started showing the crappy 70's series again after the movie came out and people were confused. Oh, and who in their right mind would want to buy Stacked: The Complete Series?!

    Smallville STILL cheaper at Walmart

    by gorrister

Not by much, but when you consider S&H and having to wait for delivery, it's still best to grab it at Walmart. Of course, at $14.99, Smallville 1-4 is sometime hard to find at Walmart. LOL

Why is it that prices are always cheaper...

    by youignorantgeeks

... In the stores. I mean those smallville prices for instance are 15 bucks in walmart, costco, circuit city, bestbuy, kmart, etc... including season 4 which I thought was just for black friday but apparently isnt. I mean half the prices on that list or a couple bucks more expensive then they are in stores, even more so when you include S&H. I mean its nice to have this article, because usually prices in stores go down when amazon prices do... so I just check this list for dvds I want and then head to the store to get them even more reduced.

My So-Called Life is now $350? I got it for $100 with the lunch box (which I had to wait a year later to get shipped). This was before they were even planning on releasing it in stores, and you could only get it online from ANOTHER UNIVERSE or whatever. So I get the same collection in stores like 2 weeks before stores get it... and then the exlusive content - the lunchbox and extra dvd with winnie holtzman interview and stupid studio tour - came over a year later. Still... MSCL one of the best damn shows of all time. THE best until Buffy came along... but its still in top 5.

Herc, the quote you used in your post...

    by danielkurland

I assume it's from Twin Peaks, as that's the nature of your post, but in spite of being a huge fan of the show, I have no idea whatthe context of this quote is. The only thing I am thinking of is when the Giant says to Cooper, "It is happening again." Care to enlighten me?

As the use of all caps suggests ...

    by hercules

... it's a quote from FBI regional director Gordon Cole. He's talking to Bobby Briggs. I don't want to spoil it, but in context it could be the single greatest line in the whole series.

And for those who think the series sucked toward the end of its run, I'll point out that this brilliant bit of business came around in 2.19, just three episodes from Lynch's never-resolved cliffhanger series finale.

    What a show!!
