Longtime AICN contributor Kevin Biegel, today a revered “Scrubs” scribe, depends on this sitcom for his very livelihood. Strange but true.
TV Guide says:

Blue Man Group appears. Dr. Kim Briggs: Elizabeth Banks. Jordan: Christa Miller. Keith: Travis Schuldt.
But TV Guide is not telling you everything! Learn what it’s hiding, via the miracle that is invistotext.

About F'ing time!
-
And the most underrated. And one of the three shows that had a huge impact on my life (and the only one that is not animated...).
I love it! It's like they re-invented the sitcom! -
I have been counting down the days to this date... FINALLY
-
NBC has never given this show ANY support. I think I saw maybe one three second spot about "ALL NEW SCRUBS" and that was it. Does anyone else think they are putting this show up against 'Grey's Anatomy' to make the ratings decline on purpose to finally get rid of this show? I just don't get how NBC constantly throws money at crappy sitcoms but has never put any kind of effort into developing 'Scrubs'. Time for a drink.
-
1 hrs of syndication in my market plus Comedy Central, plus WGN's syndication and the new one. Kickass. There is no such thing as too much Scrubs.
-
and the other 3 shows on the night. They are the only live action comedies worth watching.
-
so funny. I Was so depressed a couple years ago, had never seen one episode, when a friend turned me on to them. I spent days downloading every episode and watching them. you can't laugh that hard for that long, and still be touched by real moments and not feel good afterwards. I gree with the long haired one. die beste show aus fernsehen!
-
It's just gotten too out of control and whacky. I caught a repeat of season one on TV, and the sound effects they used for like someone moving a clip board or turning around were SO loud, and ridiculous. I was really confused.

Green Wing is what Scrubs could have been, excellent t
by evilwizardglick
Green Wing was far better than Scrubs ever could have been. The characterizations were excellent. The comedy was over the top funny and original. Mark Heap and Michelle Gomez are the funniest people ever to grace the small screen. How many television shows actually allow a man to have sex with his mother? It will be sadly missed. But there is a Christmas episode due out soon.
-
"And not the good kind."
-
Through 5 years of shifting timeslots, getting treated like a midseason replacement, and low promotional efforts, Scrubs has held on to its little audience. Rather than appreciate this, NBC has chosen to take advantage of the cult and continue the abuse. Season 5 was brilliant nevertheless (aside from the stupid finale), so I'm really looking forward to tonight.
-
The wife and I were going through a rough patch recently and started watching the syndicated episodes on comedy central every day and i swear our marriage got better b/c of it. It's just so lighthearted and funny that you can't not be happier after having watched it. the office and scrubs is the best hour of tv on any channel EVER!.
-
AND I SAY IT IN ALL CAPS B/C I'M ANGRY THAT I FUCKED UP :(
-
I went on a two-month Scrubs marathon after I graduated and was still unemployed. I think it kept me sane through the ordeal.
It used to be going around during the day for job seeking and interviews and my afternoons would be spent watching this show until late night.
Watched 4 seasons just like that, and when I finished the last episode of the 4th season, guess what? I got hired!
It was like breeze. I would recommend this to anyone who is going through stuff in life. -
tonight, then we'll see if they finally show a little appreciation for this awesome show. I know some people thought season 5 was weaker, but I laughed my ass off every week. I'm so glad it's back.
-
non-spoilers I've ever read. Ever.
-
I found out about this show later and subsequently have religiously watched every episode on comedy central. It never fails to cover a great life lesson, and does so with wit, class, and an easiness that I just dont see in any other show right now. Right next to the office, it really is the best live action show on tv.
-
I seriously can't remember a better lineup. Although, does anyone else agree that the 2nd season of Earl is practically shit, compared to the 1st one? Oh well, Scrubs is back, all is well.
-
all day long
-
I thought I was gonna be made fun for using the Scrubs anti-depressant method, but it looks like I'm not alone. right now I've been stuck in my apartment for 3 days after a minor car accident (snow in seattle in november = bad drivers) with a really bad pinched nerve in my neck. but new Scrubs and Office tonight, so I don't mind so much.
-
i think that's why it's retained such a loyal audience. You can feel better after a show without feeling you've been spoonfed a bunch of rainbows and sunshine.
-
In spite of my qualms with the show as of late, I still do admit that out of the sitcoms that have been on TV lately, it definitely stand out. Lawrence has more or less confirmed that this is the last season though, so great ratings I don't think are going to make much of a difference. Keep an eye out for David Cross guest starring this season, and if all the paperwork played out properly, he'll be playing Tobias.
-
Maybe if Arrested Development had gotten another season it would have surpassed Scrubs, but there's something about this show that I just love. It can be crazy stupid sometimes, but I just feel thiz crazy connection with the characters. I hope this Kim/JD/baby thing gets squashed quick. I don't like her. JD needs to have a baby with Molly Clock.
-
Two never-nudes reunited. Can't wait!
-
....NO! The green wing is fucking awful. Scrubs does what the green wing wish it could do without being as vile or stupid.
-
Die beste Show IM Fernsehen. That reminds me of that German patient in Season three. I got no idea what he said, but I guess it was supposed to be German ^_^ (Oh, but Elliot's German was PERFECT!)
-
Great. I would like to put my bike in her trunk. God I love this show. At least NBC keeps it around, even if they ignore it, rather than outright cancelling it (a la Fox's usual trick) in favour of a bonus hour of "Deal or No Deal or Fat Inbred Hick With a Lack of Understanding of Basic Mathematics Making Poor Decisions and Walking Home With $2500 When He Could Have Had $350,000"
-
i'm sure there are at least a couple of you out there who care just as much as i do.
-
And keep the show going after Braff leaves, since this will most likely be Braff's last season. The show CAN'T continue without JD. BUT if it does, I'd prefer they don't bring in a new person, and instead just focus on an existing character, preferable Elliot.
-
good ratings or otherwise. i believe zach braff is in the final year of his contract, and it's pretty much a given that after this season, he'll be leaving so that he can spend more time writing/directing/acting for film. sorry.
-
And it would have been the best comedy line-up ever. RIP to the Bluth family. I love those crazy bastards to death!
-
lacklustre and strained. if season 6 is indeed the last, here's hoping they go out on a high.
-
It was still good, but Elliott's ugly haircut, Tara Reid and toomuch Jordan. I think season 5 is great, although I still wish it didn't go for the brighter colors, and I miss Elliot wearing her Scrubs. But I loved the Mandy Moore episodes, and KEith is a great addition as Elliot's boyfriend. Lawerence has said someone who is not a regular, but has been on all six seasons will die this season--I bet it's Jordan. Also, can't wait for the musical episode, with the music being done by the Avenue Q people.
-
Oh, no, wait a minute. AD already covered that ground. TWO YEARS AGO!
-
Als ich das gehört habe, habe ich eine Erektion für 3 Tage gehabt! elliot, mit ihre ganze Hitze, Deutsch sprichen zu hören! es war fast zu viel zu nehmen!
-
but the Janitor, The Todd and Ted are all great comic characters. Dr. Cox wore out his welcome a LONG time ago, though. We get it- you're sarcastic. Funny. Not.
-
This show sucks a ton
-
flame on...here's some attention for you, I got a few extra packets here in my pocket. there you go...you got attention! yaay! now it's bye bye time, yes?
-
I would count Jordan as a regular really, but I could see quite a few people dieing...inclduing Levern, that useless guy now down in the morgue, or The Todd...who will mostly likely die of some sexual disease.
That or JD's brother! -
I love that Turk STILL can't remember that Carla is Dominican. And Braff lost weight! Good, cuz JDs head was looking huge last season.___________re:EWS, while Scrubs is a comedy, when it comes to death, it's never played as a joke. That's why I figured whoever would die would be someone with a real impact on the main group. And Jordan's death would really give McGinley some footage for that Emmy he really wants.
-
but they all look inferior compared to the brilliance of seasons 1 and 2. oh well, still better than most comedy on tv (but not the show on before it)
-
Whats heavier than a ton? A mega-ton? Maybe? Okay. This show sucks a Mega-ton? More than that? This show sucks worse than a leech powered vaccuum cleaner! Zach Braff needs to be euthanized.
-
Seriously though, I like jordan, and killing her off would be way dark. Maybe Elizabeth Banks will die and JD will have to raise the kid himself. Or maybe the Todd... or Laverne. I don't want anyone to leave!!! Tonight's ep was kind of weak, but it's still good to have the show back.
-
the way JD explained it happened. I'm thinkin it's not his kid.
-
-
I did not think Season 5 was up to the previous 4; made JD a little too gay and everything was a little too sitcom-y for a while. It was still one of the better shows on the air though. Last night's was the best since "My Drive By" in season 4.
"Dr. Cox uses insults in an effort to belittle J.D."
Really? He never does that.
-
What the hell is up with Cox-y's hair? I loved the little bumper during the office when they turned the lights on and Turk said something like "It's about time, Carla's been pregnant for like 17 months." This episode would have benefited greatly from a replay of last season's finale. I was hoping Comedy Central would have gotten to that episode before the premiere. Otherwise something was off in the episode. It seemed more sappy, and less witty, than before.
-
I've punched a whale. Yep, right in the face.
-
Well, I was going to watch anyway, but that's definitely an added bonus. Where be this information? In the preview I thought I might have seen Stephanie D'Abruzzo (or whatever Kate Monster's name is) but I've been known to be wrong before.
-
Was the short cutaway scene where Dr. Reid calls a bearded doctor Dr. Beardface before yelling at him (at first it seemed sort of as a throw away joke) but at the end of the scene he says back to her before storming out "It's pronounced Beardfasay".
Silly humor like that is what really makes Scrubs work for me. I laughed for about 10 minutes on that joke alone. -
Ever. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know dick about good tv. Every episode of the show is always a "very special episode" and yet still funny as balls. That's the beauty of it. Also, people that use the non-word "meh" should be assassinated.
-
between two guys.
God, I cant wait for the musical ep. Check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF6rSGfUdyg -
..but I'm surprised no one mentioned that Dr. Cox, JD and the Janitor were acting opposite themselves- as in Coxy and Jani were old coots and JD was a girl with boob rot.
