Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little bit of news regarding Wong Kar Wai's new flick, MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS, with a rather impressive cast, including my future wives Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz and my future husbands Tim Roth and Jude Law... I will cheat on them all with the other two cast members Norah Jones and David Strathairn, though.
The Weinstein Co. is picking up some really interesting properties... I think they're really trying to come on strong, establish the new company as being as big of a powerhouse as Miramax was. They have nabbed the distribution rights to Wong Kar Wai's flick for U.S. and Australia/New Zealand distribution. Wai's flick is about a girl (Norah Jones) who goes on the road to find real love.
