That stupid Goblin Skater kid, as you call it, will not be fixed. Watch the trailer that's already available. You can clearly see a shot of Harry crashing into a wall of a building dressed in that shity outfit, and riding that damn snowboard. It must be clear by now to everyone, that Raimi hates the Goblin, everything having to do with him, and every incarnation. The Green Goblin in Spider-Man 1 was horrible and now this. They said he never wanted to use Venom because he didn't like the character, but it's the Goblin he truly hates. With a passion. You truly have to admire hate of that kind. From what I heard, the fourth villain is Spiderman himself. Finding the darkness inside. Im pretty hyped about this one, for seeing Venom on the big screen if nothing else. My only worry is if too much story is packed into one movie. It felt a bit like than in the second movie. Still lots to look forward to

I don't have a problem with not following "the Comics." But the paintball mask and what is essentially a flying snow board is just discraceful. With the budget that this thing has you think they could have done better than what they came up with.

I assume that's because Venom won't be a major part of the story. I heard all the rumors about the 4 way fight at the end of the movie, but I have a feeling there won't be much Venom at all. In fact, I think he may just be a setup for the fourth film. Of course, I could be totally wrong about this. I just think that the major arc of the film is Peter in the black costume, so when that story is over, the movie is over. Venom obviously doesn't show until Peter ditches the symbiote, and I think that'll be close to the end, like with Harry at the end of the second film.

Listen tibbar, it's clear you are late to the party, but are the type who still want to tell the story of how someone pissed in the punch bowl when you hadn't still arrived and weren't there to witness it. It's too long and I'm not going to go there and explain it again and now, but some people who were around months ago, know about the ways the Carnage thing leaked first and then was pulled out, etc. Some went to considerable lenghts to make some sense out of it and the thing kept getting more interesting by the second. Little sweet Aunt May? Maybe, but go back and watch Spider-Man 2, and the scene where Peter tells her he's really responsible for Uncle Ben's death. Watch her face, and her reaction. Then watch her walk away in despair. Not so sweet there, is she? She's holding some thing powerful pertaining to that. Also, it has to do with a brand new flashback concerning Un cle Ben(and Cliff Robertson's new cameo)in Spider-Man 3. Again, I'm not getting into it. How's your common sense regarding organic webshooters and Harry not being the Hobgoblin, or GG2, just some guy using something from his father he found in the basement. It's Raimi's game. He twists things as he sees fit. You know, I'm just saying...

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but Raimi seems to be mirroring Spidey on the Reeve Superman films. Spidey 3 evokes some parallels with Supes 3. Both introduce a new love interest (Gwen/Lana) and have the same idea of celebrating the superhero, until things get bad when he has to confront his inner demons (symbiote/the manmade Kryptonite). So Supes 3 wasn't all bad. Raimi obviously saw the potential good ideas from that film and used them for Spidey.

The fourth villain most certainly is NOT Aunt May as Carnage. That was an old rumor started when that showed up in IMDB, but as everybody here *should* know, anybody can post stuff on IMDB, and often incorrect casting gets posted there. The fourth villain obviously is Mysterio, but technically I wouldn't count him as a villain in the grand scheme of things. He's clearly going to be used in a Bond-esque intro, where Spidey makes his entrance into the movie to take out Mysterio. Do I know this as fact? Well, no, but it seems very obvious to me. The Aunt May/Carnage thing is just not gonna happen. I'd bet a lot of money on that.

Go back and watch the teaser. when Harry seems to be attacking Parker, (which looks like a good scene by the way, Parker in civilian cloths doing his spiderman thing), Harry flys the thing into a building and he flys it like his dad did. Not like a fucking snowboard/hoverboard sideways shite, so stop moaning like bitches and stop making your minds up after seeing a fucking concept drawing.

There is nothing worse than watching a trailer with unfinished CGI. I'm not one to usually criticize that stuff, but I couldn't believe how bad it was - it was like watching a cartoon. Why did they put out a trailer with effects that aren't done yet? They should have waited till the Super Bowl to run this trailer.

just saw the trailer on VH1. even though it was amazing i was bummed that they showed no venom. guessing with all the black ooze shown throughout the trailer they're just teasing us and we might never see venom until it hits theaters. but great stuff anyway.

Something was definetely cheap about the animated fight scene shots. I'm hoping it's unfinished...
Anyway, this looks like it's going to rock after all. What I'm really wondering, though, is just how much of Peter's life, how many of his loved ones, the venom will damage and/or kill.
Regarding the intro, I think it's safe to assume that SM becomes a hero after he saves JJJ's astronaut son. I'm glad to think they're sticking with the "alien" part of alien symbionite or whatever. -
