Punisher reaches a new Dimension with THE MIST!!!

Hey folks, Harry here... When I read Moriarty's story about Darabont finally getting THE MIST going, but I had questions? Like mainly... Who was making this movie with Frank. From the letter Darabont wrote, it almost sounded like he was making THE MIST as an independent film with financing he'd culled together. Nope, seems the hero in this decades long struggle to bring a brilliant horror script to the screen is... Bob Weinstein and the folks at DIMENSION. I can't praise Dimension enough with this one. Here we have one of our finest filmmakers working on one of his personal dream projects. THE MIST is likely to be a film that will absolutely kickass... And when Michael Fleming at Variety wrote up his story - he not only included where the film would be made, but the first casting break... THOMAS JANE is in talks to be a member of the ensemble cast! FUCKING A! While I might have hated THE PUNISHER movie, it wasn't Thomas Jane. If he's playing the character I think that Frank would cast him as... he's got the best part of his career. Seems Frank is well on his way with this one, which will start shooting this Spring. It is an absolute thrill for this film to finally be in the pipeline.
