Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. This project actually sounds like a lot of fun. Of course, it all depends on execution, but the idea of an animated flick centering on mad-scientists' assistants has a very '80s Tim Burton dream to it. In the cast already are Steve Buscemi, Christian Slater and John Cleese. Newly announced are Molly Shannon as a giant monster invented by Igor, and Jeremy Piven as Igor's nemesis, Dr. Schadenfreude. The Weinstein Co. is distributing... I just hope the animation quality is a step above the Nickelodeon TV level ofCG animation from their previous HOODWINKED! I'd love to see this as a black and white animated flick, but I doubt we'd get something as cool as that... What do you folks think?
