James Cameron back to scripting! SANCTUM heading into production!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. It's a great time to be a James Cameron fan. He's got multiple projects in the works. He'll be directing a fictional film again shortly. He'll be working solidly on 5 projects, including AVATAR and BATTLE ANGEL ALITA. Now he's going to script a "live-action drama" called SANCTUM about a father and son deep sea diving team who run into trouble on a dive in uncharted waters.
I'm a big fan of his screenwriting work... of course on his own films, but I love RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART 2 and STRANGE DAYS. Great to see him scripting again. A guy by the name of Gary Johnstone will direct, Rogue Pictures will distribute the $20 million-ish budgeted flick, reported to be shot in digital 3-D.
