SPOILER ALERT !!
Harry here... My dick just went titanium! I want to see the fucking GRINDHOUSE movie now! It shot to the very frickin' top of the world in terms of films I want to see. I just can't fucking imagine anything better than seeing this. Here - watch, I'm just gonna continually watch this like that first porn I got back in 9th grade!

-
that's some fucked up shit.
-
Yeah man that looks fucking sweet!
-
First.
-
A gun for a leg! where does she keep the ammo?
-
Whoops. Never mind about first
-
Oh, sweet fucking hairy CHRIST THIS LOOKS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
-
And we ain't even half-way through!
-
Thats 101 different kinds of Badassery on display right there.
-
Wow.That looks the dogs bollocks.Machete looks unbeleivable ,cannot wait to see this. When is it released ?
-
Great cast. Love to see the 80's briggade getting some work. Always liked Jeff Fahey after Lawnmower Man. Bring it on!
-
Well someones been up all fuckin year trying to come up with the most pimpin tomfoolery!!! I never want to hear another word about movies having a negative effect on our youth.
-
The film quality was absolute shit - it was scratchy and jumping all over the place, the effects work was fucking horrible - it didn't look at all realistic and was too over the top. A gun for a leg?! That's just stupid... I think Tarantino's arrogance and ego has finally got the better of him; this looks just like some bad low-budget 70's exploitation film...
-
She's got a leg missing!...looks really good...Just need QT's trailer now!
-
Seems taking the approach that making something deliberately shit elevates it above the level of films that were just plain shit through circumstances like poor writing and low production values actually works for most of you guys. Looks like it's about the right climate for a remake of 'Hell Comes to Frogtown'. Ah, we're in a new golden age of cinema.
-
That looks cool as fuck me ol' chums!
-
Tarantino isn't even directing this segment, you fucking dildo! Oh, by the way, it's looks fucking amazing too!!
-
Yo Dogg, Where is you sense of fun? you grumpy Motherfucker! Hell Comes to Frogtown remake? hell yeah! woop! woop! woop! woop!
-
It's impossible that Tarantino's one will be more than 1/3 as cool as that TRAILER for Planet Terror is! And if Planet Terror itself is just half as cool as its trailer...it'S fucking cool!
-
"I just can't fucking imagine anything better than seeing this."
World peace? A fat-free fudge cake that doesn't let you down in
the flavor department like so many others? Try to try, at the very least.
now the trailer...my boner made of punching just punched me. -
Think you kinda missed the point mate.
-
are responsible (simultaneously) for hastening the decline of western civilization and increasing the overall coolness of american cinema. This looks like From Dusk Till Dawn revisited. Prepare to have your mental molars rotted by some sweet celluloid cotton candy....
-
cannot be improved upon.
-
Your dick went "titanium"? What the fuck does that mean? Better grab your imaginary girlfriend and bang her before your tool reverts back to tin or some other lesser metal.
-
This looks absolute-fucking-fantastic. Robert Rodriguez is becoming more than just a B-movie director, he's becoming one of the best B-movie directors.
-
He knows how cool this motherfucker is gonna be. he's just playing with ya.
-
http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/2007/DEFGH/Grindhouse/trailer.php
-
If the film lives up to even half of what that trailer promises, it will be very cool indeed. How fucking funny was that blade-lined trenchcoat of Trejo's? Rodriguez is far from a sure thing for me, but I will be seeing this.
-
Yeah you're right - I'm just a grumpy bastard. I guess I just don't get all excited by what are effectively the film equivalent of making a mix tape. Sure, you can put great tracks on a mix tape but it's not really advancing anything. Just as mimicing past films and styles doesn't. I wouldn't give a shit except I think both Tarantino and Rodriguez are seriously talented and could, if they put their minds to it, probably do something to revolutionise film if they weren't so caught up in remaking the films they love themselves.
-
I want a real MACHETE! Did that kick fucken ass or what? Danny Trejo is the shit.
-
You don't like it, we get it. Please don't spoil our party with the neg vibes man. Might be best if you leave by the back door. This grindhouse talkback is not for you, bud.
-
it's all down hill from here.
-
The fact that this trailer was on TV last night when it aired during Spike TV's Scream Awards which really was a long long promotion for GrindHouse and any other Tarantino and Rodriguez project of the past to get glorified.Which I dont really mind at all cause I love Tarantino and Rodriguez flicks .But really the award show was pretty lame. At heart it was great to see cool geek things get honored but it all came off as fake and staged.
-
But...am I the only one who thought the film scratches and jumps looked a little fake? It just looked like a really clean digitally shot movie with some computer effects layered onto it. It didn't look like an actual beat-up print. Robert Rodriguez, you're still my hero.
-
Oh, and this flick looks seriously badass, but you all knew that. Almost as cool as the new corner animation...
-
YES! God-damn I have missed the old latex stuff! Tom Savini and Michael Biehn in the same movie?! I've died and gone to heaven.
-
How cool is Biehn's entrance? Camron, you better cast him in Avatar!
-
The rest of you knee-jerkers should hang your heads in shame at falling for one of the oldest tricks in the book and go and look up 'irony'in the dictionary!
I haven't been this excited about watching a film since I found my Mum and Dad's homemade porn! -
I really hope they don't overdo it with the whole scratch effects, jump cuts and shit, but I can see that kind of thing getting really fucking annoying really fucking quickly. And regardless of what Tarantino might spew out of his coke addled mouth, watching flicks with bits missing and bad edits isn't cool, it's just irritating, always has been. Still, like I said, looks like a damn lot of fun regardless, and it's great to see Michael Biehn on the big screen again (and in a non military, non cowboy role to boot...though I guess he's played plenty of cops too).
-
that kicked my ass six ways from sunday, i sincerely hope it's not just awesome-traileritis.
-
I wanna see Machete . I have a feelin the trailers for the fake movies are gonna be better than the movies themselves
-
I pooped all over my apartment when I saw Michael Beihn's badassitude. With Savini riding shotgun, no less!!
-
Wise words my friend. Great to see Biehn back where he belongs...on the big screen.
-
I'm overjoyed - A fanboys wet dream has been realised! To anyone who's blasting this already for rehashing 70's exploitation flix - Get a Grip! Thats what they've had in mind from the start! What the furk were you expecting guys? We've all known since day one that this was planned to be a homage (hate that furkhin word) to those films, and it has also been clear as day to me from the getgo that these two are always going to make films that let them a) have fun and b)let them play around with the stuff they love!
We were all given vivid detail of what to expect from these films and what we've seen above delivers that in spades! I swear some of the people who talkback on here just sit all day eating buckets of chicken and playing WoW waiting to slag everything off!
And another thing - splitting hairs about the 'quality' of the grainy technique is proper furking geeky - lets be honest boys we all love this shyte but we need to keep it under wraps man, lasses dont like to hear that kind of shyte.
Obsessive criticism of very minor technical 'observations' gives geeks like me a bad name!
Anyways - looks like a real hoot! Can't wait to see it Boulkaaa!! -
Is the movie going to have frame cuts, scratches etc. or is it just for the trailers?
-
Satire? Fair enough, but someone pretending to be an idiot on a message board is pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing. Hardly takes the sharpest wit.
-
Good to see you are still in love with RR, but I have to say I have no interest in your penis. The movie looks good as far as parody goes. I'm always interested in their work so will check it out. I am worried that if it keeps getting more and more OTT then it won't work as a movie. And I will never read a Harry review of it, mainly because I don't want to read schoolboy grade bi/curious porn (concerning RR anyway). Good to see you back DocP.
-
I have seen on film for quite some time. Now a chainsaw hand, that would be cool...
-
with a huge budget!
come on! -
Gonna be a fun night of movies fur shur!!
-
Cos Tarrantino loves his meta-theatre, y'know, drawing attention to the fact that it's a film and celebrating it. Them bars aint goin nowhere, so put that vaseline away, bitches.
-
It's nice to see the number of positive talkbacks on here today - Im furking sick to death of people coming on here with their minging vibe bringing all of us happy sorts down..
We all know this film looks cool - its as clear as day!! All the folk using this site love this kind of stuff! Monsters/Zombies/Maniacs/Crazy Stunts/Crazy Characters etc.. We love this stuff!!! I'm telling ya man geekiness is going to implode! The geeks are malfunctioning! The sky is blue (sometimes if ur in the UK), the grass is green, and miniguns on motorcycles in films with zombies and maniacs in are furking awesome!! What the hell do you guys want man? How on earth can people who likethe kind of stuff this site covers moan about this??
I tell you wat man, there's this guy at my local comic store who has, in the time i've been going there, only ever said negative things about anything that has come out, films and comics.. Over the years I have mad a point of testing this lad by systematically dropping titles into conversation. In time I came to realise one thing, a horrible side-effect of the geek gene that we all possess. Over-exposure WILL make you into a miserable pigface who can only have negative opinions on things because you are so 'well-informed' that everything seems like a cliche!!
(Taking a breath...)
So to my point - we all love this kind of shyte, but there are way too many people coming on here trying to sound smart by saying "its too much like this" or "its not enough like that" - We live in a time when ALL of our tastes are being catered for, and people who share our love for these kind of films are being given free reign to do what they want on the silver screen for 2 hours! Be happy guys! Life is too short! And I was having a great time reading this talkback until you pain in the arze supernerds started posting - Be happy you furking nerds! Love Costello (well mannered positive outlooking secret nerd) -
Damn you Michael Bay
-
Sin City! Rehashing the mighty Frank Miller's work instead. :^) ---------- Oh, and much chuckles at everyone who fell for Pawprint's hilariously ironic post! :^D
-
Well said! more pumpkin punch, my friend?
-
...but I have to think Robert's fascination with firearm prostheses is indicative of a larger, deeper issue. Movie looks like it could be some silly fun, not unlike From Dusk 'til Dawn (which is pretty terrible but has late-night, too-drunk-to-sleep rewatchability). But I can tell I'm not as excited about this as others because I'm not swearing a lot.
-
So don't go see it mate, if you like 70's exploitation re-hashing then you go see these guy's films, if you dont then don't bother! You must admit that its better to have the option, I don't like musicals, but if one comes out I don't pro-actively criticise it. I just dont think about it!
The point I'm making today mate, and its not a personal attack, is that loads of people come on here to give the film a right slagging just because its a QT/RR film. We already know what to expect, and its got me baffled that people who aren't into that style are even bothering to comment - we KNEW it'd be like this, its never been dressed up as anything else! I just dont understand why people who are against 70's exp re-hashing are even bothering to click on the link..
I guess some people just like to moan... -
Boukaboukaaaaa!
-
Check it out ---- this is freakin' brilliant! One of the trailers they have made for imaginary Grindhouse movies inside the film itself!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=xOFIFHQP84I
-
well it does.
-
If his friends weren't involved in this do you think he'd be going as crazy over it as he is? Hell no. And get ready because this is just the start. If you think he hasn't already given this a good review you're fucking crazy.
-
Why isn't he in more stuff?!
-
To be honest, If i was RR or QT i'd probably make films like these, although mine would be more along the lines of Dark Star... I digress, but seriously, I hope this is the last thing of this type they do though, RR has at least got a bevvy of highly original work, within different styles and genre's ,under his belt, (i.e Spy Kids, the faculty) QT has only ever made one style of movie. yes its fun to watch but considering that the guy has made 5 full length movies (Kill Bill is 1 film) and 3 of those are 70's styled Gangster movies he doesn't really have a huge artistic palate to show for himself. I'm hopeful that Inglorius Bast's will improve on this, but I have reservations.
-
Fuck me running that looks amazing!!!
-
Danny Trejo played there someone named Mr Machete...
-
the trailer. This is what they put together for the Spike Scream Awards that was on last night. This is a lot of the same stuff that they showed at Comicon. But fucking A...BRILLIANT. I want Quentin's babies.
-
But I'm not really a fan of RR's stuff, even the much praised Sin City didn't blow me away. As for QT, I love his earlier work, but Kill Bill was a bit of a geek wankfest, it was OK, but deeply self indulgent. It should have been cut down to one 2 hour film, and I never bought any of the women as warriors, they looked like wimpy Hollywood babes pretending to be hard, which they were. I'll watch it, and I hope it will be entertaining, but the sooner QT does something a little more serious the better.
-
there's no emoticon for what I'm feeling!! This looks fuck-all apeshit amazing!!
-
Good job chumming the waters, mate. This looks 1010% BADASSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Is it RR and QT jerking off their cult movie knobs? Absolutely! But, it looks like it's gonna be F-U-N! Remember fun, kids?
-
that link doesn't work. hope you weren't pulling our plonks!
-
Gutted you didn't think of it first? Or just miffed that you couldn't spot the irony? I thought the phrase, "this looks just like some bad low-budget 70's exploitation film...", might have given the game away, plus the ragging of all the gimmicks of the film; scratches etc... Oh well.
-
And actually do something interesting.
-
Oct 11, 2006 9:06:33 AM CDT
Did I read that John Carpenter is doing the music...
by talkbacker with no name
to one of these movies?
-
The crowd that gets a boner any time Tarantino or Rodriguez points a camera at something annoy me. This looks entertaining on a b-movie gorefest level, but it's nothing to get excited about. Rose Mcgowan does get me all blood engorged, but still, the movie itself doesn't look all that and nostalgic feelings doesn't make it good by default.
-
I hope so mate that would be a nice touch! If so I bet it was Kurt Russell's idea!! Mind you if he was doing anything other than musical scores I'd avoid it like the plague...
-
Rodriguez mentioned that his own score will be very Carpenteresque.
He used a lot of Carpenter's previous scores during the filming.
Also,
does anyone have a link to Planet Terror's script or a script review anywhere? -
I think i read it here a few weeks back...or that QT is doing it in the style of JC...Someone else must have seen that?
-
Previously on LOST:

Please, oh, PLEASE, tell me that someone will actually MAKE "Machete!" That cannot only be a fake trailer. I must see that movie someday.
-
Just to be different from all the ball-grabbing Mc FuckYa's in this TB.I think this looks keen.
-
knew i saw it somewhere. so - in talks to score. That would be cool.
-
That is the sound of a cinematic orgasm, kiddies. Hell with the movie, I want the DVD, and right this minute!!! Rose McGowan: I wanna marry you. And bring the Crazy Babysitter Twins along for a little foot fun, mmkay?
-
I hate these zaney b movie lets add tons of gore crap. I'll pass! Tarentino has gone in a direction I'm just not in to.
-
...it will be crap, because the guy can't write worth a damn. Is it a coincidence that his best film, Sin City, was written and co-directed by someone else? I think we'll find that it wasn't.
-
Looks like a bloody good time!!!
-
... be sexually arousing to him. Don't missunderstand I think it looks entertaining. But if this were another director people wouldn't be reacting as if it were the sweetest piece of candy on god's green earth - or whatever.
-
looked like it'll be a guilty pleasure. Kind of reminds me of the 300 trailer, same kind of vibe for me. These films will be pure fun with lots of blood, guts and gore. If I wanted to watch an intelligent movie I would go see a Ang Lee film but when I want a fun, balls to the wall, leave your brain behind movie then give me a RR or QT film any day of the week.
-
At Comicon Tarantino and Rodriguez both said that the fake trailers are so good that if there is a 2nd Grindhouse that if the people like them enough, those will be the movies they'll make for the next one. Machete made me hurt with the whole insane mini gun on a bike. That was just f'ing nuts.
-
Enjoy
-
Enjoy. Good to hear Dark Place get a mention.
-
I BUST A FUCKING NUT
-
This looks like the movie Sin City should have been....
Can hardly wait! -
I love it!
Bring on
DEATHPROOF!!!!!!!!!!! -
That looks awesome, looks like a lot of fun.
-
...is if this saw an NC17 theatrical release. I mean, it's not like THIS will reach any smaller an audience. Jesus, this looks awesome.
-
This is gonna be the best freakin' movie EVER!
-
Desperado and Once Upon a Time...were both fun, entertaining movies with high rewatchability factor. They weren't Pulp Fiction or even Kill Bill, but they got the job done and were loaded with great action scenes and funny lines. What more do you want?
-
I'm not sure what to think, I mean, I can see the comparison with Darkplace but I hope they can make a *bad* movie good. I'm going into this as Pulp Fiction turned up to 11.
-
Fuck..I hope not.
-
good to see RR once again drawing from the rich tapestry of myth and storytelling that is "Spy Kids". I've got an idea for a movie- two hours of Carla Gugino swimming nekked. Too many movies, I can't wait for 2007 to come soon enough.
-
With awesomenessitude.
-
I'm not one of those guys that comes on here just to bash movies in talkbacks just to get attention, but this trailer did very little for me. The acting was really, really bad (not good cheesy - very bad cheesy). The girl with the gun for a leg just looks awkward. In the storyboards, I'm sure the shot of her blowing the smoke from the barrel of the gun looks cool, but in execution it just doesn't work. What happens when she walks around? Don't rocks and junk get clogged up in the barrel? Wouldn't that cause a problem? I'm no gun expert, but I would guess it would either jam the gun, or cause the shot to be off-target. Just doesn't make sense to me. A gun for a lost ARM? Hell yes! A leg? No. Although I would love a movie like this if it was done right, I'm afraid this one isn't it. Maybe it's not too late to fix things. Dunno. I certainly hope I'm wrong about it, cuz some parts did look kinda cool.
-
please
-
This does not look like a cinema trip for me, (you can't smoke joints or drink beer there for a start!), but a late-night DVD 24-pack, henry VIII and KFC deal.
-
Rodriguez has more natural talent (anybody notice he did the music, too?) and the better story here, but Kurt Russell can save anything - speaking of, didn't feel much of a vibe from DEATH PROOF at all, what with all those zombies and Tom Savini lurching around...Also, they really just should have made MACHETE - it looked like the best of the three films, and the one truest to the supposed 70's exploitation roots...
-
Harry feel some movement in his pants. Find out what his dick's been up to (or down to) at 10:00.
-
Harry feels some movement in his pants. Find out what his dick's been up to (or down to) at 10:00.
-
The scratches and frame jumps will only get this movie so far, if that is going to be one of the main tools in helping emulate that explo-feel...I can do the same with Premiere Pro, as can hundreds of other people, apparently (see: youtube). Also, time to be brutal: I just watched this again and it started looking pretty weak...except for MACHETE - seriously, they should have made it and gone balls-slamming-to-the-wall insane for a couple hours.
-
It still being filmed, peeps.
-
oh well, the wait at least gives me time to get out of this shit state and see it at a real theater.
-
So is this one of the full double features, or just one of the trailers they said would run in between the feature films?
-
the scenes with sickos (zombies), the lab, and grandma mcgowen are from planet terror, rodriguez's half of grind house.
the machete stuff is one of the trailers that will run between the two films.
tarantino's part, death proof, is either being filmed or recently wrapped in austin (like this week recently) so none of that stuff is out yet.
-
"He gets the women!"
-
"He gets the women!"
-
"He gets the women!"
-
"He gets the women!"
-
because it wasn't that funny the first time
-
wow.
-
wow. i hope it's as fun as from dusk till dawn.
-
Damn, I want to see this, but it's not doing anything for me.
-
this movie is going to be amazing. I almost came in my pants for that clip and it didnt even have any Tarantino stuff in it yet.
-
Anytime some douchebag starts to knock Tarantino, I'll just think, "Motherfuckin leg gun."
-
...Tarantino's style of shooting (and the producers willingness) allows him to film whatever he wants, no matter how long it takes. The result is usually falling a few weeks behind schedule, just like they are now.
-
I know its a fake trailer in between stories but HOLY SHIT if this movie does well enough.... I WANT TO SEE THAT MOVIE! Danny Trejo is the FUCKING MAN
-
You know if you actually read talkbacks all the way through before commenting, it makes you look a lot less daft; especially when you fall for a jape AFTER the punchline has been revealed...
I'm firmly with the 'Film Machete Now!' camp... that would rock my sock off my cock. You can kind of see QT playing with the whole exploitation film idea in the deleted scene on the Kill Bill 2 DVD. You know, the scene with Uma and Bill at the market where he takes down Michael Jai and chums.. -
Turn up your fucking bass. The music can change any piece of video dramatically (just look at that Passion of the Christ trailer with the Kill Bill music). It's like watching Moulin Rouge with the volume off.
-
That looks pretty fucking cool. Tarantino and Rodriguez's better half strike again!
-
...because nothing is as good as this looks.
-
What does it take to impress some of these people?? This trailer beats have the movies out there. I'm not talking about other movie trailers either, I'm talking about other MOVIES!
-
like is he a character in the actual "planet terror" film or is that "machette" bit part of the fake trailers they have made to go with the films? anyone know?? I am not wording my questions very well but do you get what I mean....oh and rose mcgowan is ridiculously nice.
-
will watch this. that is all.
-
Looks like what those gridhouse flicks used to hint at but never really deliver. This is what we IMAGINED they would be like. Great Guns, I will be there too.
-
I can't wait !!
-
yeah, Grindhouse! 70's! Zombies! I'll pass.
-
that we have a drive in here, where i WILL be seeing this movie. perfect.
-
It can't be that perfect, it hasn't got your favourite, the dead raped deer, in it.
-
or is that the Dawn of the Dead remake typeface they used for the title? If so, come on. That's not to original.
-
...there were vampires and werewolves in this as well?
-
Nooooooooo!!! Oh god dont tell me lavagirl has had her leg amputated and replaced with a big big gun!!!!
-
Wow.
-
Made you frothing at the mouth excited. Then what the fuck is wrong with you? It didn't do anything but show shitty music, and a super ugly motherfucker killing people with Machete's. I think too many of the sycophants on here say shit just to please the crowd. The trailer was not very good, or even good, at all. Just because it's supposed to be cool, doesn't make it so. Just ask the guy who directed the covenant. Okay, so this movie MIGHT be fucking AMAZING. But the trailer, was not. You want an amazing trailer? Go watch the one for THE DEVIL AND DANIEL JOHNSTON. Now that, is a fucking trailer kids.
-
the fake trailers inserted between the 2 movies are creating
fans.
They said "We want to create trailers so bad-ass that you WANT to see them too."
sounds like a huge dive board for future flics.
QT is the man!
Thanks for all the fun mutha'fucka'! -
best...trailer....EVER. the gatling gun on the front of the bike has sold me on this. YES!
-
good movie and music.
but Crumb still rules. -
Trejo bitches!!!
-
"Machete" the Mexican version of Blade. I must sya that I agree with some of you here. Harry does way to much "Self Referencing My Genitals" as a way to explain what I feels is cool or how cool I feel it is. Doesn't this guy have a film school or babysitter kindercare center thing going with local kids from his town. Ummm Parents.... He calls his chick Yoko- so I guess he's feels he's the John Lenonn of film Critic's. He's as self masturbatory as QT is, but in a creepy, geeky, fat, guy who might touch little kids kind of way. I still like the guy that is Harry, but man I wouldn't be shocked at all if CNN reported a Neverland Ranch like story on him. Stop talking in Pusedo Sexual Perverso Mr. Knowles. You creeping a lot of us out bro... I wouldn't let my kids near you man, but I still think your funny as shit and I love this place. Your like the snap bracelet fad of the early 90's. Your very much one of the Webs Top Ten "things" that makes it worth the 30 odd bucks it cost a month, but damn sometimes you go a little Howard Huges/Michael Jackson on us. What did we ever do to you!

If you thought this trailer was cool, wait for more...
by iamnicksaicnsn
Cuz fuckin hell. Compared to the stuff they showed at Comicon this was NOTHING. Grind House is going to blow away the competition next year, bitches! IT'S A PARADE OF KICKASSERY! AHHHHHH! SPLOOOOOOGE
-
I'm about 99.9% positive that someone's head will explode (IRL) while watching this movie. It's looks INSANE!
-
you can even hear the people in the crowd cheering. i know, i was one of them!
-
I get it, but it just doesn't work.
it makes it all look super fake and like an internet "silent movie" done in sepia tones by a bunch of college kids. -
Now that I've seen a girl with a gun for a leg, I've gotta say I'm game.
-
Somebody asked when it'd be released. The posters say 4/6/07 but they also say something about the Burnet Road Drive In which is currently a storage building so...
don't come lookin' for me if it gets released sooner or later. -
but I get the feeling that the "gun leg" was done because it's so unplausible. This flim is a homage to crap 70's b-movies, and that's just the kind of lapse in logical that they would have. It's part of the fun...if you're into that sort of thing. And I am.
-
The trailer is quite exemplary, it plays to my basest instincts. Harry's endorsement, on the other hand, made me want to spew. Exactly as he intended, of course.
-
That's the best news I have had all day, Mr. Tommy the Cat. He should film on N. Lamar (a.k.a. Skanktown) cuz that's where I stay.
-
....ITS OPPOSITE DAY! Oh man, I've watched it like a dozen times now. I've made everyone around a computer see it. I can't effin' wait! It's got EVERYTHING! Even Evil Twin Babysitters!
-
I may have had my doubts ... but ... SWEET fucking BABY JESUS! Must see film NOW!
-
Download it in divx here
http://tinyurl.com/o2gg5 -
Does that rifle go all the way up?!" Da-dom tisch! That trailer has increased the humidity in my pants to 200%! ... Oh no ... I've become Harry... but, you know, without the nipples. Naystayers can lick the white heads off my balls while I dribble crusty seamen flakes in your peepers!!!
-
"My dick just went titanium!" you've scarred me for life.
-
They could've easily fit ten or twelve more machetes in Trejo's trenchcoat, but I guess Tarantino doesn't want to offend the Fox News soccer moms. Pansy.
-
Rose Mcgowan is hot even with a firearm as a leg.
I dig that trailer, hope the Tarantino one is as good. -
Anyone that doesn't want to immediately see this movie (possibly at BNAT8... eh, eh?) is on the wrong site, and should revoke their geek status. Film is about expression, about joy, about all of the idiosyncrasies that pollute our little pea brains. For some that is Grindhouse, Pan's Labyrinth, The Prestige, Apocalypto, The Fountain, and on and on....., for others it is about some formulaic 'safe' piece of cutesy animal animation like Open Season, or some ridiculous 'horror' remake prequel, or some terrible holiday romp in piss soaked snow....
Please surf the net accordingly and stay with your own kind, or be open minded if you must stray from the pack in the land of geeks and nerds and film afficianados.....

Well. Guess I'll be seeing that, then. If we all go see it, does that mean they'll make MACHETE? Cause that would fucking rule.
-
...in both halves of Grindhouse.
-
hmm...i was under the impression that he was a character in Planet Terror..like a bad ass anti hero or something.
Everyone seems to say its one of the fake trailers though...thoughts? -
Why's everyone baggin on QT? Is any of his footage even in this trailer?
-
This looks completely B.A.! My only complaint is that Rodriguez should have laid off the horrendous CG he puts in everything. Apparently he can't he even make a 30 second 70's period trailer without a ton of the stuff...
-
I know this was taken from the Scream Awards, which is why they have audience cheers on the soundtrack, but it actually works. They should release the film with an applause track, with people talking back to the screen in the surround channels and shit. At least as a DVD option.
-
Holy fucking shit, she is smokin' hot. One leg, two legs, no legs, painting her fingernails, dancing on a pole, doesn't matter... I love Rose MacGowan!
-
...now she's on the Kate Bosworth diet to emaciation. http://www.hollywoodtuna.com/?p=1888
-
I'm SUING! My daughter lost a leg and I had a big ass gun welded to her--someone's copying my life and you're all to blame if you see this movie! Yeah, I'm the Machete guy in case you haven't figured it out yet, poopheads.
-
Yikes! You're right. Someone better get her a ham sammich.
I guess part of her pay for working on this movie with Quentin was all the blow she could eat. Snort. Whatever. -
and the music sounded straight out of Pulp Fiction...my favorite film, but let's go somewhere new? Anyway, a good trailer does not equal a good movie in most cases...I hope it's good but we'll see.
-
this looks even cooler than i imagined. way cooler...

or bullets?

Barutta, Rodriguez *did* do the "audience track" thing
by osmosis jones
There's one on the Sin City 3-disc set, with people laughing and cheering and stuff. Kind of fun.
-
Coming to Telemundo, brought to you by Kellogs!
-
Man... that could be the most ridiculous craziest greatest trailer ever! Oh that was great and it stays great after repeat viewings. April can't get here soon enough.
-
Some of that trailer looks like stupendous glorious gory fun but sometimes it just looks like badly made crap (This could also be the fault of an ashy trailer, bring on Quikctime HD dammit!). I'm pretty confident that it'll lean much closer to the former but I'm not writing out the possibility that it could easily veer off into the latter. But I guess that's the line Rodriguez and Tarantino are treading on so we'll see come April...
-
Does that make me a sicko? If so, GRIND ME, BABY! Looks sweet...must stop drooling...muuuugggh!
-
From Spike TV's Scream Awards (hence all the cheering and screaming in the background). Just watched the show and this is what QT and RR put together to show people at the awards show. It's not the trailer but just a bunch of footage.
-
But I'll have to make something up. Looks like RR has nailed it.
-
Grindhouse I think is going to be a lot like Masters of Horror and Nightmares and Dreamscapes. Great in concept, but not so great in execution. When you have a short horror film with not enough time for character development or pacing + over the top everything due to directors trying to 'out-cool' each other makes you realize after about 10 minutes of watching it that you don't give 2 shits if you ever see the remaining 40 minutes. In just about every movie genre, too many 'money shots' in too short a time makes you stop caring very quickly.
-
Looks both very cool and very shit at the same time...SHOOL!
-
This film is an homage to the Grindhouse flicks of the 70s. They were so bad they were good. I get it. I saw the footage QT and RR presented at Comic Con and it looks to be a rollicking good popcorn double feature. Why hate when there's so much fun to be had with this?
-
I believe they were still in austin/Luling shooting as of last week. anyone know for sure?
-
Sweet Jesus. That is very KICKASS!
-
Goddamn that is one awesome trailer. I love Rodriguez for making this movie. Danny Trejo as an ass-kicking sonuvabitch named Machete and Rose McGowan as a hottie with a big-ass gun for a leg. And blood and guts and zombies, too. Words do not exist in the English language to describe how utterly cool this movie promises to be.
-
They try to take it down...I it just comes back:

Just remove the space between "v ="
like this: "v=". Don't know why it won't just take it?! -
what if it's a bad film?!
Could the human race recover? -
Can't find any on GoogleTube because all the Grindhouse trailers have been removed due to copyright infringement.
