My love for Jack Black is wearing off. I'm not happy to say that, but for some reason I'm kind of over Jack Black. I've rooted for him for a long time (Neverending Story III, anyone?) and I loved the original Tenacious D HBO shorts, but I think I've had my fill. I didn't bother to see Nacho Libre. Flame away...

I know I'll be flamed for this, but I thought King Kong was one of his best roles. Being a rude, coniving prick seems quite natural for him. School of Rock was alright. Kyle is the best part of Tenacious D to me. Until he starts singing.

Yes, Grohl is playing Satan. The trailer was the only stuff the studio could scrape out of the film that wasn't crude or profanity laced. If you cut together a family-friendly ad for their first album, it wouldn't be funny either. The trailer doesn't worry me, they just couldn't show the funny stuff. Honestly, most of their humor is derived from the word "fuck" anyway.

Jack Black wasn't on screen that much! He had a great start (The entertainment cannon made me laugh VERY hard), but suddenly...he was gone! He appeared every 20 minutes to say: "And here is the next presenter!", then there was a short KG appereance and that's it. You can't hire Jack Black as host for your fucking award show and then hide him backstage! The movie Awards that he hosted with Sarah Michelle Gellar were the last funny thing that MTV did!
