Danish Actor to play a bad guy in BOND 19

Published at:  Jan 29, 1999 3:29:10 AM CST

Ya see folks, the reason to see cool foreign films and art flicks is to see the future of Hollywood. And... as always the jewels get plucked for the crowns of Hollywood. I just did a story on Vinnie Jones from LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS possibly being up for a role in MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2, and look... now, from another wonderful overseas flick, we have a possible villian in the BOND flick. Pretty cool how this stuff works eh?

According to the danish press, danish actor Ulrich Thomsen, star of the
movie Celebration, who won in Cannes, is to play a role of a badguy in
the new Bondmovie, i dont know if it true or not, but it was on the
front page of yesterdays newspapers in Denmark..!

    Final Piece of the puzzle

    by the quest

All that remains to be confirmed is the Title music artist. I have heard it is down to 3...Paul Weller, Depeche Mode and Metallica. I'm hoping and praying for Paul Weller - although I'm not a huge fan of his I believe he would do a Bond film more justice!

Harry's reason to see cool art films.

    by jeffery

Please tell me that the only reason that most of you go to see foreign and independent films is to see the future of Hollywood. The reason to see independent films is to watch a more daring exploration of acting, storytelling and filmmaking. This is the sort of stuff Hollywood frequently avoids. If you're going to see an independent film merely to discover who will one day be playing Bruce Willis' wisecracking partner in his next bang-em-up cop flick, then you're sadly missing the point. Oh Parker Posey, why did you have to go and sell out for a throwaway part in YOU'VE GOT MAIL?

    Ulrich Thomsen

We at Earwicker Enterprises couldn't be more pleased. The Celebration was one of our three favorite films last year. That, Out of Sight and Shakespeare in Love proved that story comes before bang-bang. Now, Thomsen adds yet another touch of class to Mister Kiss-Kiss-Bang-Bang. This follow's the classy casting of Sophie Marceau, Robert Carlyle, John Cleese and of course, the accomplished Judi Dench as always. This movie looks better all the time. Earwicker is pleased.

The best song was KD Lang's version of TOMMOROW NEVER DIES over the end credits. Her belting fucking rocks. I think all three of those guys would suck.
