Spielberg Wants To Make LINDBERGH Next!

Hey folks, the first bit I got today was from a fella that's got his fingers in the INDIANA franchise, and the word was, "The only place where they are talking about that is on the Net!" So, that set me to thinking about what else Spielberg has on his plate. Well, we all heard Variety talking about MINORITY REPORT the other day... well now... Well, let's listen to what Spielberg said he wants to do next....

Stevn Spielberg came to our school last night as part of the Inside the Actors Studio program, the one with James Lipton, whom some of you find pompous. I have no comment on that one. He _did_ confirm that 1) He's working on Geisha, and is casting a whole lot of unknowns in it. 2) He wants very much for the Lindbergh project to be his next one, and since he greenlights his own projects, it will probably be this one. It will definitely be a biopic, not a story of the crossing.

But the most important thing that came out of this night was how clear that Steven Spielberg is one of the nicest, most informative, engaging and clear-headed thinkers of our time. He knows how to tell an anecdote, he knows how to make you feel comfortable, he knows how to just be a nice guy. Nice Guys are painfully rare in Hollywood, and I feel honored to have been in the presence of one of them.

It's clear he enjoyed himself a great deal and gave one of the best interviews I've ever seen. Watch for this episode (it'll probably be two. he missed a flight home to stay with us) on Bravo.
