Anyway, here's some scoop for you if you're interested. Harry the book by Richard Foster called "The Real Bettie Page, The Truth About the Queen of the Pin-Ups," recently sold the movie rights, about two months ago, to Christine Vachon (Producer of "Kids" and "I Shot Andy Warhol") and Mary Harron (director of "I Shot Andy Warhol"). The script is in finishing stages (they already had a version before buying the rigths) and they've apparently gotten the funding to make the movie so it looks like it will be a go, and will probably be the first Bettie feature to make it to the big screen. I'm hearing there will be more emphasis on her modeling and religious conversion and little or no emphasis on her tragic later years and her time in the mental institutions.
