BIG BROTHER Upset!! Late-Night HoH Contest Re-Do!!

Many “Big Brother All-Stars” fans who went to bed Thursday night thinking bikini-loving FloatHerd member Erika was the show’s new Head of Household (as depicted on CBS’ highly rated live Thursday night broadcast) were shocked to learn via the Internet Friday morning that Erika had already been evicted from that post by “Big Brother” producers, who admitted the equipment used for that night’s HoH contest had malfunctioned.
A 1:30 a.m. ET re-do of the contest – apparently eliminating the time-factor element - gave the powerful Head of Household position instead to Janelle, a member of the rival Season-Six alliance.
At the moment, Erika is still identified as HoH on the cbs.com website. The re-do contest will be broadcast on the network’s regular Sunday-night “Big Brother” telecast.

I skipped back and watched it a few times and howie absolutely buzzed in but his buzzer didn't work. You could see he hit it with some force. I can't say I'm happy with who won in the redo, but I'm glad they did redo it.

So when they re-did the competition, did they use the same questions? My thing is that if you got a question wrong (Janelle, Will) then you should not be allowed to play again. Now I just hope James or Danielle wins the Coup d'etat and gets Janelle's ass out.

Seriously, I am so sick of season 6. At least Chilltown will be safe again this week since Dr. Will has the blonde bimbo wrapped around his finger. PS Erika is the hottest one this season in my opinion and was shocked when I went to CBS's site to find out that she's 36!

It was several people's buzzer's, plus, on one of the early questions, Boogie didn't even have an answer up, but Julie kept going. So it affected everybody, which is why it was only fair to have everyone redo it, because it's impossible to determine how it affected everyone.
Glad Janelle won, though. Wish she would put up James. Just listened to a radio interview with his girlfriend, who said James planned before the show started to betray Janelle and Kaysar, which is why he made up that excuse about Janelle backstabbing him. -

Take another look. Janelle did not get the answer and was properly eliminated. Everyone else should have been allowed to redo except for her. I'm no Janelle hater. It's just that the technical problem did not affect her.

I, for one, am happy with the new status quo, thouth I think Erika should at least get immunity this week for two reasons. 1) It seems only fair, and 2) It increases Marcellas's chances of getting nominated. He's gotta go! If he's not bitching about something, he's playing cards. It should be interesting television when he finds out he was voted "Most Annoying" by America. It is unavoidable. And all the floaters will shit themselves when Janelle and Will or Howie are prom queen and king.

So let me get this straight; Big Brother is all about the re-dos when the equipment malfunctions, but when Julie "I'm the most terrible host in the history of reality television" Chen fucks up competitions it's alright? Way to go CBS, way to go.

Like I said, both Janelle and Will should not have been allowed to take part in the re-do since both gave WRONG answers. Even if Boggie didn't give an answer when Janelle was eliminated, it wouldn't have mattered. I also agree that Erika should be given immunity since it's not her fault BB fucked up.

If you're eliminated during an
error filled contest deemed unfair
to the players so that there must be a "do-over" then since the
competition in which you competed is null and void, so is your elimination. Think of an Olympic sprinter who sets a new world record, but upon review a false start should have been called. Race redo, no record.
Besides, Janelle went out on the question where Boogie's lights didn't work, so who is to say if he would have answered that question correctly or not. SO that question should have been redone live, which would have given Janelle new life.
George and Marcellas were the first 2 out before the problems with the equipment appeared, but you can't not redo the comp without them, because then they have grounds for a lawsuit...that they were unfairly eliminated by faulty equipment that is it had worked properly, they may not have been eliminated for being the slowest. -

I am very upset they did this redo the way the did it. I love Janelle, in fact she is my second favorite player to ever play the game (Erika being the first), but this wasn't right. It was fair they re-did it, but not that erika is no longer HoH. They should have made it the co-HoH like in week one.

So even if Boogie's light didn't go on during the question where Janelle was eliminated, it still wouldn't have mattered. If she was eliminated b/c she had answered correctly in the slowest time, then I would buy her getting another chance. But she gave a WRONG answer. Whether Boogie was correct or not wouldn't matter. If he was right, he stays. If he was wrong, he'd get the boot too. I have no problem with anyone else getting to reply, but Janelle and Will should have had to sit out since they were both wrong.

Herc, "dude", if you give it a talkback, I doubt I'll be as vocal as I was in the last one, "dude" This year, besides Paula, and John's weird thing about ending every sentence with "dude", the season was meh. Also, it seemed like it was a hell of a lot shorter, "dude". They should let a few of the "Fresh Meat" contestants be Real Worlders, "dude". I'd like to see the Canadian kid that was Coral's partner, Wes' teammate that is a dead ringer for Elisha Cuthbert, and the fat guy that teamed with Katie all on a future season, "dude".

I've read that Will and Boogie have been plotting their strategy even before being put in their house. No big deal, you say? Well, how bout this? Kevin Smith was filling in for Ebert this week. I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan (I hate Jersey Girl like everyone though).. He gives World Trade Center a thumbs up..thats cool, and deserved..
