Just some thoughts here. If you’re too stupid or weird to use the many dedicated threads in AICN's The Zone for “The Venture Bros.,” “Entourage,” “The 4400,” “Deadwood,” and “Big Brother,” you can use the talkback for this post.

1) I got a lot of email last week arguing that last week’s “Deadwood” didn’t merit an AICN mention because the EXACT SAME eye-getting-torn-out-of-the-socket thing was already used on “The Venture Bros.” the previous week. And “Venture Bros.” did it better, because it gave us Rusty Venture’s POV.

Also, the big Ozzie Davis-looking guy shot himself because the town drunk called him a liar? Man, if I killed myself every time some drunk called me a liar I’d be dead by now.

2) Alison Irwin was the first to be booted out of the “Big Brother” house Thursday, and Entertainment Weekly critic Lynette Rice has a hilariously frank exit interview with the petite blonde vixen. All the foolish Chicken George boosters in the casting special talkback should enjoy her reponse to this question: “Who in the house doesn't deserve to be there?”:

Chicken George. He is the most annoying person I have ever met in my entire life. He's a friggin' moron. He might be the dumbest older man I ever met. It's almost impossible to have a discussion with him. He really is a retard.

Hopefully there are plans afoot to belately bring Brittany the Virgin or Jordan the Stripper back from season one. Read all of Alison’s interview here. (And I don’t want to hear any shit in talkback about how “reality TV sucks.” Everybody knows the people who post that “reality TV sucks” are always the ones getting caught by their moms furiously masturbating to repeats of “Breaking Bonaduce.”)

3) "Entourage." Was the idea for Vince Chase to put on 60 “Medellin” pounds during the filming of “Aquaman 2” make any sense to anybody? Will the Rainn Wilson character threaten to refer to Chase as “Aquafat” now? This plot deficiency means Vince definitely will not talk to the fishes in part two. So which rising young actor will they bring in to replace him??

4) Both murderous telepath Gary Navarro (Sharif Atkins) and deceitful government operative Dennis Ryland (Peter Coyote) are back on “The 4400” for the first time since the season premiere. But the real question is, what is self-medicating mad scientist Kevin Burkhoff (Jeffrey Combs) going to look like the next time we see him?
