Hey, everyone. Capone in Chicago here. The contest is officially over! I’m going to try my damnedest to send confirmation e-mails to all winners in the next 48 hours, but in case that doesn’t happen, below in alphabetical order are the names of everyone who is officially invited to the Chicago-area 3-D screening of MONSTER HOUSE on Monday, July 10 at the Crown Village Crossing 18 theatres, 7018 Carpenter Road, Skokie, IL. Please note that the film starts at 10 P.M.!! That’s 10 at night, y’all. I know a lot of said you were going to bring the kids, which I think is fantastic; I don’t think they’ll have trouble staying awake for this one.

If for some reason, you decide you don’t want to go or can’t go, let me know right away; we could use the extra seats. For those who are coming, please bring some form of ID (obviously this doesn’t go for the youngsters). If you get one from me, bring your confirmation e-mail as back-up, but we’ll have a master Guest/Winner list and will be checking people in with IDs.

For those not on this list, I’m not keeping a waiting list. But my educated guess is there will be No-Shows. We will have a waiting line at the theatre for those who want to take a chance (or possibly wish to bribe me for a seat). We want every seat filled for this 3-D premiere, so I’d say get there early if you decide to come without an invite.

Thanks for all the great messages that accompanied your begging for tickets, all the anniversary congrats, etc. I’d expect that kind of support for events in Austin or L.A., but I’m genuinely thrilled to be hosting the first ever AICN event in Chicago.
