Evil Doctor Vs. Nerd Herders?? BIG BROTHER 7: ALL-STARS!!

Published at:  Jul 06, 2006 8:45:35 AM CDT

SPOILER ALERT !!

I am – Hercules!!

According to this Web-only Variety story “Big Brother” is such a big deal in Australia even the nation’s prime minister can’t get it taken off the air.

The other eye-catching thing about that story is Australia’s Network Ten airs a late-night “adult” version of “Big Brother.” Wouldn’t it be bitchin’ if one of CBS’ many many sister channels – Showtime? Logo? – televised its own grown-up cable version of “Big Brother”?

Tonight’s season opener will see the CBS’ 20 nominees whittled down to 12 contestants. America got to choose six; producers got to choose the other six.

You can see what they all look like here.

The nominees:

“Chicken” George Boswell (1)

Bald Gay Bunky Hill (2)

Evil Doctor Will Kirby(2)

Mike Boogie Malin (2)

Monica “It’s On!” Bailey (2)

Bald Gay Marcellas Reynolds (3)

Fabulous Lisa Donahue (3)

Dramatic Danielle Reyes (3)

Coltish Erika Landin (4)

Excitable Dana Varela (4)

Vixenish Alison Irwin (4)

Pitt-Worshiping Jase Wirey (5)

Michael “Cowboy” Ellis (5)

Jennifer “Nakomis” Dedmon (5)

Horny Diane Henry (5)

Master Jedi Howie Gordon (6)

“King” Kayser Ridha (6)

Angry Ivette Corredero (6)

Veto Czar James Rhine (6)

Mouthy Janelle Pierzna (6)

Which eight won’t make it into the house? I maybe pick Boogie, Cowboy, Nakomis, Jase, Danielle and Diane as most likely to get the bum’s rush off CBS’ historic Studio City lot.

One suspects the Big Brother nation has voted heavily toward last season’s charismatic Jedi Council: Janelle, Howie and Kaysar. Evil Doc Will is a lock. The Hairless Homosexuals might fill out America’s Choice, unless crybaby Bunky is displaced by blubbery halfwit Chicken George.

The producers (and network) will then want to balance out the genders with some bikini action, so Alison, Lisa and nerd-herd co-fuehrer Ivette seem almost certain to get invites. They might pick Monica to reunite Will with his old rival. Maybe Erika. Possibly Dana.

I could be wrong.

The show begins its real schedule next week, with regular 8 p.m. airings on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

8 p.m. Thursday. CBS.

UPDATE!! SPOILER!! For those who don’t like reading the talkbacks? Mortystv.com posted this on July 4 (though nobody bothered to tell me about it until the morning of the July 6 premiere).:

Some of our posters have subscribed to the feeds already. Being the BB junkies they are, they have been watching the feeds today. You have to admire these people, sitting and watching a screen with flames! BUT, at about 6:32PM EST people started posting about hearing Houseguests on the feeds! Here is the list they have compiled. 8 guys and 6 girls - The final list is (assuming 14 are in):

Allison (heard clearly)

Janelle ( is HOH)

Diane (heard clearly)

Danielle (heard clearly)

Nakomis (mentioned by Danielle and Kaysar and then heard clearly)

Erika (heard clearly)

Howie (heard clearly)

George (was called to DR)

Marcellas (heard clearly)

Jase (heard clearly also HoH?)

James (heard clearly)

Kaysar (heard clearly)

Dr. Will (talked about by Danielle)

Mike Boogie (talked about by Danielle and others)

The story we are hearing is that there are two HoH's and they must agree on their nominations, or they will be the nominees.

Noisy, fire-up lightsabers just like Howie’s!! $19.97!!

    will is your master!

    by mooly

As far as I'm concerned there has been no better character in all of Big Brother than the Evil Doctor. Every other "bad guy" in the entire run of the show has been a loud mouthed jackass who goes out of their way to ensure they are kicked off. Will was great because he lied to their faces, admited it shamelessly when confronted, trashed talked them in the diary room...and they still loved him enough to let him win. I also like James and hope he gets on. He was awesome last season except for that one moment of ultimate stupidity. I also get the feeling that the show will only allow one gay guy on, so I doubt both Bunky and Marcellus will get on.

Erika likely won one of the fan vote spots leaving Lisa on the curb.

Spec is that the 8 leftovers competed for 2 spots, which Boogie/James won.

    SPOILER!!!

    by scoopbrady

Purplelantern's list is correct. I read on some website that the feed audio went live for an hour the other day and the houseguests are confirmed. Also, there are two Head of Households this week, who must agree on their nominations or else get put up themselves. This is a crappy twist IMO because a plan to backdoor one of the HOHs is already in place. That didn't take long.

That list is only suspect if you don't do any research on the web. I really thought you'd have that "scoop" in your post, Herc.

    by damitol

BB is my annual guilty pleasure, and no Lisa means my interest in this summer's series just went down a notch. She was my favorite BB eye candy ever, and from the look of her "please vote me in" video, she's only gotten better looking. A bit of the BB webcast test audio from inside the new house is available on You Tube. Just search "Big Brother 7" and sort by "date added". Be aware that the UK BB7 is in full swing so that 99% of the videos are from there (search out and click on anything with Nikki in the Diary Room. She is cute, annoying as hell and unintentionally hilarious). The English play BB the way the rest of the world does in that the houseguests nominate and the audience votes people out. It will be interesting watching Chicken George try and fit in as he only know the

Figuring the house is NOT rocket Science

    by adamdiran

Its easy to guess at if you assume they'll not double up on archtypes.

Bunky or Macralles. There is simply no way on earth they'll put two gay guys in the house. The Disaster to CBS in the event of a hook-up is well... They'll never risk it.

Danielle or Monica. Token black woman? Sad but true. Of the two Danielle was always more entertaining. Who even remembers Monica?

Diane or Ivette, Ethnic exciteable woman? My guess is Diane simply on the basis that they'll need someone from season 5.

The Chicken or the Cowboy. Fills in the slightly slow excentric type. Given how boring Michael was, George becomes a shoe-in. also need someone from season 1.

Jase or Boogie. Blond jackass/egomaniac. Nobody likes these guys but they're not there to be liked. Designated bad guys to stir up trouble. Not everyone can be sympathetic.

Of the four remaing men, I guess we'll find our 3 voting favorites. I'm almost ready to say that Will/James is an archtype match up but I can Imagine them putting them both on the show.

Of the remaining 6 women we need to eliminate 2. Nakomis doesn't have the looks, won't have a brother on the show, and I don't recall was ever a terribly popular player.

Allison stands alone as the unlikeable villainess, she's probably a shoe-in from the producers. CBS liked her enough to stick her in the Amazing Race.

Of the remaining 4 women, I believe this will be settled by voters or producers based on who currently looks best in a string bikini.

    Any issues with my logic?

    Danielle better be there.

    by lenny nero

Best player to e'er be in the Big Brother house. If they had the rules in place during season 3 that they do now (castoffs are kept in seclusion and do NOT get to see confessionals, but merely heavily edited versions of the shows), she would have won hands down. In season 3, however, all castoffs went back to their comfortable homes and watched the exact same show that we did, so Danielle's wonderfully two-faced approach to Big Brother was exposed and Lisa unfortunately won.

This show would be better if...

    by ohdaesu

they had the people live in a normal house somewhere and had cameras following each of the cast members as they go about their lives. They would be fully accessible with the public and they should take the game show element out of it. Have it go on 24 hours a day. I know it sounds like Ed TV, that Matthew Mconaughey movie, but I would seriously watch a show like that! I hate this whole thing where they lock the people up in an oversized terrarium. It's like watching people in prison. It's like being the prison guard in Oldboy and watching people in their rooms going stir crazy in their rooms all day. I remember the first season and turning it off after 2 episodes.

    Euro Big Brother

    by ohdaesu

The only reason it's so big overseas is because they show people getting undressed or having sex or taking showers. People watch it because it's guaranteed boobies, if American Big Brother was uncensored like that it would pull in huge ratings. Just saying...

Chicken George I and Evil Dr. Will still rule BB

    by spyguy

George has no chance in hell, but he's the only one (with the exception of Marcellas, I guess) who's actually happy to be there. And Will? Like he said, peel back the skin and there's nothing but circuitry underneath. I would love it if he outmanuevered Janelle and the other BB 6 asswipes, but since he's the only BB winner in the house, he's probably gone by Week 6. Oh, and Allison IS the spawn of Satan. Hell, she may BE Satan...

    by silver shamrock

they are off to a great start, the level of plotting and manuevering is intense. george may be in a hwile because he's no threat they think and they have much bigger fish to fry. And before you know it he's gone far in the game and has built up respect by the others. Thats what's so crescent fresh about chicken george, he has no strategy and last about as a long as folks scheming 24/7.
