Tuesday Brings One of The WB's Final Three GILMORE GIRLS Ever!! And TV Guide Talks To The Palladinos!!

I am – Hercules!!

Lorelai is finally properly introduced to her future stepdaughter, April Nardini, and Rory is finally introduced to Logan’s horrifying wounds.

Tonight brings us the second “Gilmore Girls” teleplay credited to “Spin City” vet Dave Rosenthal, who takes over as showrunner next season when the show moves to The CW. (Many who don’t recognize Rosenthal’s name might nonetheless remember his eye-opening appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show a few years ago. Learn more of this here.)

In the meantime, TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello on Monday conducted an awesome yet horrifying interview with departing “Gilmore” showrunners Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino. When asked how she feels about passing the show along to another showrunner for its seventh year, Amy replies, “It's horrifying. It's like a freaking nightmare.” Another excerpt:

Ausiello: What happens to your seven-year plan now? What happens to the last two lines of the show that only you know?.
Amy: Well, I think that you got to look for another two lines now.

Another exerpt:

Ausiello: Might you guys consult?
Amy: No.
Ausiello: Is there a possibility if next year is the last year you guys could go back and do the finale?
Amy: There's been no talk of that.
Ausiello: But is it a possibility?
Dan: We're living a day at a time here, Mike.
Amy: Dude, I plan on being on crack in an hour. I'm going to be with Whitney Houston in that bathroom of hers.

Beware enormous possible finale spoilers as you read the entire interview here.

8 p.m. Tuesday. The WB.
